Hey! Thanks for the awesome tutorials. I'd be really grateful if you could clarify a doubt though. You were working with two integrals, right? How did we get rid of the outer integral and started working with just the inner one? Also, you assumed integral (x1*x2)= integral (x1)*integral (x2). Isn't this false generally? TIA!

Those who are saying the process of integration is wrong then I think you need to go back to semester 1 & 2 mathematics and study back the double integration again...there is no problem in any steps he used to proof the convolution property of CEFSC. he used simple double integration concept. if you want any clarification then drop your number or email I will explain to you.

Can anyone explain the step where the two integrations are separated? Is it even logical?
@piyushmakwana48306 жыл бұрын
Yup, that doesn’t make any sense we cannot take of x2(t- tou) from an integration done with respect to tou, as the value of function changes with tou

yes the two integrals are for for different variables one for tou one for t

For those who are confused in integration step: Integral x1(tau) e^(-jnw0tau) dtau This whole term (including the integral sign) is considered as a constant for the outher integral which depends on dt. We simply put in in front of the outher integral as if it's a scale.

But x1(tau).x2(t - tau) is not a constant for inner integration d(tau). Then how are they getting seperated??

By change in order of integration concept, if you have the limits as constants than variables, you can integrate the multiple integral in order of your choice. Eg: (Int(2 to 3) Int(1 to 2) 2xy dxdy = 15/2 = (Int(1 to 2) Int(2 to 3 )2xy dydx)

@@vavilapallisatyavenkatasan6563here what u are saying is absolutely right but what sir has done is wrong because we have to d(tau) intigration first and that we have to solve dt intigration but sir is solving both at same time.
