Feedback ? Here's the list--> 1. speech pace: no complaints 2. contents: better than my college 3. pronunciation : Feels like English class ! 4. specialty: you declare what's in the next presentation , that is a unque style and helps to hold the interest. 5. *Dislike* : why you don't teach in my college ?

I have a doubt. You while describing the race around condition said that the o/p Q continues racing till the clock is low (timing=5:15),it may be the case that at that time when o/p is 1, then clock attains it low position. Please help me to come out from this.
@nel_tu_7 жыл бұрын
Your name is ironic. Here's the answer tho. Q will stay high during the time when the clock is low, if its final state was 1 before the clock was low.

You are r8 ...
@UsmanKhan-zj5rq6 жыл бұрын
He said it continues racing when the clock is high till the clock becomes low. The clock won't attain its low position because we assumed that the clock is high in all cases. So, whatever the output is, the circuit starts racing

I haven't taken these sequential lecture at digital logic and now at computer organization I was totally lost since it depends so much on the sequential part, I'm absolutely lucky to find such an organised and knowledgeable person to not just cover what I missed but to make it even more fun to learn. If there would be anything I would like to be included in next lecture it would be some practical example for each set of lecture i mean for example flip flop if u could provide cases where jk flip flop is better than d flip flop and so on, that would enhance our understanding and make it stay for longer time, and man ur such a great human being for helping others in such a great way thanks a lot for all your efforts:)

U said flip flops are edge triggered and latches are level triggered then here in why do I mean by using edge triggered to overcome racing
@nakshbhati31907 жыл бұрын
in edge trigger clock is high for very less time than in level triggering so in jk flip flop ....flip flop can't generate output in such a less time so racing can't be take place.
@Karkibiplab7 жыл бұрын
exactly, somewhere in the earlier lectures he mentions that flip flops are always edge triggered and here he is saying that jk flip flops are level triggered and so the racing around conditions exists! why the contradiction man?

yes agreee with u, if flip flpos are edge triggred then race around condition should not be arrive .

@nishantbindal24038 жыл бұрын
same doubt from my side, still not getting that delAY Stuff. Rest are perfect.
@aldisseferi65358 жыл бұрын
When T/2 is greater than propagation delay, racing occurs. So if you want to overcome racing condition, then T/2 must be less than delay, because delay occurs only when clock is high.
@monishab41678 жыл бұрын
Can someone please explain what is the basic difference between race around condition and toggling?
@saisardesai55488 жыл бұрын
race around is like rahul gandhi who will keep on talking bullshit "0,1,0,1,0,1,0"till the media (the clock)gives him attention! whereas toggle state is cool and calm like Modi, it will either be in 0 state{when media-(the clock is 0) doesnt see any masala attached to the news } or in 1 {talk responsibly}for a clock high(media attention) .
@saisardesai55488 жыл бұрын
T' is delay time (the time it takes for spikes of Qn+1 to switch between 0 and 1); which means if the '""1"""' spike( _'||'_'||'_) of Qn+1 is more broader or slightly greater the "1" spike of clock i.e: T'>T/2 there won't be any racing!! that's the reason T'>T/2 TO KILL RACING!! what he said in the video is absolutely correct watch it again!

Since it's a flip flop,isn't the circuit supposed to be operational during the edge and not on the level??? Why is the output seen based on the level ???

same question here, anyone knows why was that?

It is a flip flop, means it is using clock instead of enable, now in a flip flop the clock can either be level triggered or edge triggered. If it's using enable input, then it couldn't be flip flop. Clock makes it flip flop, not edge triggering.

I am also have same doubt... Flip flop itself operates on edge trigger only, if it is level trigger output will be change whenever the inputs are change during clock is high.

I am some what confusion with your explanation, you said that clock can be either level triggered or edge triggered , when it is acts as edge trigger or level trigger. Finally what you said that, is JK flip flop level trigger? if it is level trigger output will be change whenever the inputs are change during clock is high.
