I was so excited about this pod….but disappointed! Even hot I don’t feel like it tastes very pumpkin-y or spicy. Not worth the hype or the price. Ugh!! I agree with you 100% and think the best is with a frothed pumpkin spice creamer and topped w pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon. Won’t buy it again tho. At least the pods look pretty in my jar on my counter! Haha.

Alex!! I am SHOCKED by this video!! 🤣 In a good way, that is! Your reviews are always really detailed and specific. And very honest. You and I differ on this one, though, and that’s fine. (I am bummed about the half-caff aspect - but again, you are right to make sure folks are aware of it!) I like that the pod is a lighter roast. I don’t think I’d like a darker roast with the spices. It reminds me of pumpkin pie with whipped cream - the cream really sets off the spices for me. (And I hope your floor is OK. Ha.)

I bought 20 capsules yesterday… in fairness, I think you read from the box that Nespresso recommended a *dash* of milk. Maybe half a cup was too much for the flavor profile? I was disappointed that the cost is $2 more than last year’s release. Especially due to the hype. Thanks for the review!

That is one of my favorite milks to use as well (the zero sugar oat)but I have noticed sometimes the oat flavor with zero sugar did nothing for certain pods. I’m curious to see what a regular dairy milk or soy would taste like. A milk that is a little naturally sweeter. I have just recently tried the “blue diamond Almond milk vanilla with a hint of honey” and it is delicious! I haven’t tried it in a latte yet but used it in my smoothies, oatmeal, and on its own. You can really taste the hint of honey so I’m excited to try it with coffee.

I got them right just as i found your video and we dont have creamer here so i was kinda annoyed because the flavour wouldnt come through when milk is added but i found that adding oat milk and a bit of nutmeg really helped!

It’s soo good. Doesn’t taste bitter or artificial to me.. I use Chobani sweet cream creamer (dairy) , it’s perfect to me🤍✨ I also like that it’s half calf, because I can drink more😉 decaf doesn’t change the flavor. I’ve had some dark roast decaf from Whole Foods. And it’s bitter and strong, yet, it’s decaf.

It’s always been half-caffeine. I buy the monín syrup not the pumpkin pie one from monín. I’d get up to check but it’s almost midnight. It’s the new recipe pumpkin syrup. Anywho, my daughter loves the syrup with the pod and oat milk. I like it with half and half frothed in.

I like it. I like it black or with my oat milk. I never sweeten my coffee but I’ll occasionally use a flavored creamer. I will say, I love Nespresso coffees but this is the only pod I’ve tried that I can actually taste the flavor. Even if it is just spices, I can smell and taste them. Normally Nespresso flavors just tasted like regular coffee to me.

I think I disagree with you. With the pumpkin creamer or half/half creamer. it taste really good! I’ve noticed it is kind of week of a coffee flavor, and definitely do agree with you with the The strong flavor of cinnamon and clove and cardamom. I don’t mind it so much I think this line came out pretty good. Last year, It was too strong for my taste and it was bitter. I don’t mind at all for something mid day type of treat. But, I definitely need to drink a stronger cup of coffee in the morning.
