I have the Vertuo Plus, I love it! I gave my Keurig to my mom, lol. I find my pods locally in Georgia at Target or Bed Bath and Beyond. Sometimes I’ll order from Nespresso, they ship pretty quickly. I hope you continue to enjoy your Nespresso!

I went between this and the breville barista, the cost of the pods and lack of in store availability was my selling point on the barista. I’m a ice coffee or americano gal though so the straight shots work perfect for me. Thanks for sharing Jessica!

I have the same one! I love it. Every morning I mix my premiere protein shakes with a Bianco Leggero pod and a little splash of skinny girl vanilla syrup.

I have the chrome version of this Nespresso machine. I loveeee it. I have a similar frother. I have the keurig one. I don’t know about the Nespresso frother but the keurig one will heat or keep it cold.

I have the Keurig K Cafe with the frother. We love it!! We use it so much we've been through 2 of them already. We do want to get an Espresso Machine like this. I'd like to try the new one that Kitchen Aid just came out with for upstairs and our coffee bar. Thank you for the review I will have to get one of these to at least try it!! Can you only get the pods from there website?? That would be my only set back or do they have a filter where you can add your own coffee?

I've never had espresso before, just coffee. How authentic of an espresso taste do you get from a pod machine? Are the cost of the pods generally more expensive compared to a typical K-cup? Also, the cost of the milk frother in the combo purhcase is almost a $100 more than just getting the espresso/coffee maker by itself (depending on the color machine you get)!

The Plus model, which is older, is superior to this Next version. It has much better build quality, is easier to use, and brews at a higher temperature, too, which produces a better cup especially for espressos. Still, most of the larger Vertuo pods have too little coffee in them for the amount of water they use, resulting in an under-extracted, weak cup, so I only use these machines for espresso and double espresso sized drinks. A good drip machine will make a better standard sized drink.

That’s not crema but just aerated foam that dissipates quickly and looks ugly while so doing. Crema is different, as it comprises the fat in the coffee, which these machines cannot extract unlike a proper espresso maker.
