ALOHA HOME FRIES! My apologies that I couldn't get this out earlier this afternoon like I mentioned. When I said my head hurt in this video, I didn't realize I was already experiencing the onset of a massive migraine attack. ​Let's just say, this migraine put me out for 6 hours and even now, my head still feels heavy. Sensitive to light and sound right now, but I was able to finish this anyways. ​This is totally unedited so y'all can see my FULL REACTION in this video! Hahahaha! Hope y'all enjoy! Oh Bruddah Sam! I’m sorry about your migraine attack. This was probably not the video to watch with its big powerful vocals combined with the confusing shock factor of hearing them sing like that. Even listeners not experiencing a migraine are having difficulty processing what they’re hearing. I hope you are recovering well and maybe you should listen to it again later ❤ Your reaction was certainly genuine. Loved it.

This group of guys from Home Free have reached legendary status in their ability to crossover to so many genres and do them with exquiste capablity. They literally have covered nearly 10 genres and do justice with all of them. They entertain at a very high level and don't put out junk.

I'm so happy the guys have started doing side projects. All the HF guys are so talented. In their side projects they really get to show off all they can do. I knew Rob trained in Opera (among other genre's) in college. Since 2014, I have been hoping I would hear him do it. And when I did, I was still blown away. Rob is often under rated by fans but the guys themselves know exactly how good he is. When asked in a Q & A who the best singer in the group was, they all pointed to Rob (who blushed). lol He's not the type to toot his own horn. Most fans didn't even know he trained in Opera. Now I want Rob to do an album where he sings, some Opera, some Jazz, some theater & some R&B. oh and throw in a whistle solo and some rap.

Sam, Austin's "Georgia, on my mind" will mind-blow you yet again....by the way his Lady, Miss Amberly shot the video....and it was filmed while Home Free was on tour in March in Canada, so expect some really spectacular footage....but Austin, oh my goodness he sings so soulfully, a great tribute to the late Ray Charles

I waited all the time and in the first minute my mom calls. That was a shame, but mothers comes first.😅 But what a great reaction. This is insane. Wow, wow and again wow. It is extremely good. Fantastic. Both are doing great. But Rob, I'm perplexed. His voice is just magical, so rich, so warm, so beautiful.. Chills just ran through my body. It flows into my heart. Rob sounds like a (good) opera singer, and not like Rob from Home Free where he is also so great. He will be able to stand with the greatest of opera singers. It's not often that I listen to songs by opera singers 5 times and more in a row. But here it is. Of course I hope that both will always continue to do Home Free, but I wouldn't think it wrong that such "trips" are made more often. Opera, country, ballads, soul etc. I think anything is possible..

Great reaction! I have never been a fan of opera except maybe some Andrea Bocelli & a few others. But I have always appreciated the talent it takes to sing opera. I was pretty impressed with Rob & Austin's version of Nessun Dorma. I have heard this famous song done by Pavarotti. I think I was more surprised by Rob's range & powerful delivery than even Austin's. Pretty good for a couple of country boys! Nice to see them dressed up in suits & looking classy.

Everyone I've seen react to this, so far, have all been just as "gobsmacked" as you were. Some people were even expecting there to be some sort of punchline by the end...and it was, instead, done seriously and joyfully. No one expected that.

I hope you're feeling better. I used to have very bad migraines, but for some reason they stopped. I would actually be vomiting off & on all night with them. I thank God that they stopped. They did very well. Of course Rob trained in Opera years ago and if had stayed with it, he would have had a great career. Austin's nasal tones and music theater training do detract from the performance a bit but it was still very nicely done.
