Please don’t feel like you need to explain yourself for people. I really enjoy watching your videos, and I have never gotten my panties in a bunch wondering why you have so many candles. It’s what you do, it’s a hobby you love, that’s all I need to know. The reviews are helpful, fun to watch, and they really do feel honest, which I appreciate. There’s enough stuff going on in the world right now to get worked up about, and candles sure ain’t one of them! 😆

Autumn Plum is sooo good! I had one last year and when I went to purchase another they were sold out. I bought two as soon as I could this year, in August I think! I just purchased two of the Crystalized Ginger & Vanilla Bean last weekend and I love it!!

I’ve never tried Nest candles. I have two holiday tree scented ones that I bought earlier this year on super duper discount that I plan on trying this year. I’m a sale shopper too-especially for things like candles and makeup. I don’t need to be first to enjoy a thing. I’d rather wait and get it for less $. 😉🙂

Thank you for the link to getting the Crystallized Ginger on Amazon! I went and bought one right after watching this on Tuesday and the candle arrived yesterday (Wednesday). I like it on cold and seems like it will pair nicely with Spiced Orange Pomander or Holiday. So glad you finally got to try Autumn Plum! It’s gorgeous and you’re right about it being a great for a personal fragrance.

I just got home from a medical procedure where I was put under for 2 hours. After, the anesthesiologist tells me stay in bed today, no driving, no alcohol and no making important decisions. My oldest son, who drove me, turns to me and say says, "That means no shopping". 😂😂😂😂 But a Nest candle is on sale.

I literally just purchased 2 nest candles yesterday the pumpkin Chai which is my 2nd of the season. Yes I already went through 1..I loooove the smell of it and it burned with no issues..I really wanted to try the plumb candle but went with apricot tea because I have it in the diffuser and love it. I'm excited to hear your review of the plum after you burn it. Also if you have not already you should do a video on how to correct candle burn issues.

Yes my Homeworx holiday order from October 7th that I placed at 7:45 that morning has yet to ship! I contacted them but said they are running behind due to their promotion. Which is fine but doesn’t excuse the fact that they are not filling them in the order received which makes me angry. Why should someone who placed an order days later already receive theirs? That is what I don’t understand. Also they charge your credit card on day one unlike BBW which doesn’t charge till ship date. I’m getting frustrated with them.

Yeah, I'm honestly not sure how the shipping works. I assume first come first served but I am not sure. I wait a LONG time for my HomeWorx orders. Especially during the sales. And to boot they have to make their way via the Oregon Trail lol. I do wish I could get them faster just to be able to share them sooner but what can you do. I completely understand your frustration. I wish they had larger staffing to move things along quicker.

I am really close to Homeworx and usually get my orders the next day after they ship out via UPS ground or 2 days if sent UPS Post (UPS to USPS). in most all cases, Homeworx processes my orders within a couple days. However, recently I had an order that had not shipped out and it was going on the 12th day, so I emailed them and they told me they would contact the warehouse. Once they did this, the shipment went out right away and I got the order the next day. I personally think that their shipping process must work on a computer queue system and sometimes orders slip through their queue system resulting in a failure of an order being shipped. If a Homeworx order has not shipped in a week's time, its best to email them to at least bring it to their attention.

@@michellek7600 thanks for the information I got a response saying they would put a ticket in for my order and I would get an email and tracking number once it ships. Not sure exactly what that means but maybe mine slipped through the system so they will manually do it. It does seem they have some issues with how it’s done though.

Do you have a candle love and I have hair products love! I don't get paid for anything that I do and I wouldn't change a thing because I enjoy making the videos when I can. Some days I don't have the energy to do much but at least I feel like I'm connecting people this way without getting too close if that makes sense.

I’m new to all of these reviews, and I guess I’m kind of taken aback at the questions about your spending on candles. Unless they are coming from a standpoint of starting their own business. It just seems strange and impersonal to me. 🤷‍♀️

It is indeed very strange but I get that judgment a lot, what I choose to spend my own money on. What people fail to realize is that I am gainfully employed, have a fantastic credit score, own my own home and most of all... am an ADULT who can choose to do as she pleases with her income lol. But honestly its just par for the course when on KZbin. I ignore it.

Omg why would anyone question what you spend your money on and force you to open your video with the cost of candles?? Candles obviously are not a necessity and talking about the cost is the last thing I want to hear!! 🤨 It's the last day of the Sephora sale and I'm in a hurry to see which holiday scents are best with scent & throw. Compared to what we spend on skincare, perfume & makeup it's all relative. Please don't waste your time with people who judge, it's none of their business and it ruins it for the rest of us who don't spend money on alcohol, eating out or traveling like we did before. We're home more than ever & want to enjoy our space!! I'm looking at the two nest Xmas scents... 🤍

Melanie, great video. I am going to have to try one of the Nest candles because I only hear great things regarding the fragrance. I have heard that some burn poorly, but one can find that happens at times with any candle company. I wanted to thank you for providing your Scentsy consultant info for I contacted Lisa and she responded so promptly to my questions. I am new to Scentsy and being a newbie, there is much to absorb! I watched a couple of her videos regarding Scentsy warmers where, along with her assistants, she describes each one (her German Shepherds assistants warmed my heart because I too have a GS). I also wanted to ask you if you have heard anything about Homeworx's Christmas Morning candle, if they will be releasing more stock. I was able to get only 1 set before it sold out within minutes on QVC and it has not shown up since on either QVC or homeworx.shop. I did find one on Ebay for $50 and decided no way, although, someone else bought it rather quickly. It is such a beautiful fragrance on cold, I tried right away to get more and could not. I hope they will release more somewhere!
