TRANE Unit will Fail for Other Reasons besides a Poor Installation butted up to Siding. They should have just Caulked the Unit to the Siding on the House. 🤪👎

That ambient temperature is cute. It was 102 with a 117 heat index here in Houston today! The condenser install is unacceptable. He should call the company and make them fix the install.

its 103 degrees today in austin, but my AC has been struggling to keep the house cooled down to 71-72 for weeks. Today it just completely sucks, it got up to 88 degrees in here, and I was watching videos on how to fix it. tryed moving the G wire to the C(constant 24v). and putting a jumper from Y1 to Rc.. nothing is working.. is it just because its so damn hot outside? I tried hosing down my AC unit. The Nest Thermostat gives no indication anything is wrong. it just says its cooling to my set temperature, 71. and its currently 83 inside, 102 outside. Help!

Keep your condensing coil cold!! Spray some water on it or setup a misting system for those very hot days

The key to the nest thermostat is installing correctly and learning how to use the Google home app. I have ancient equipment and using the home app and the suggestions it gave me in the winter I save over $100 a month and the house is actually more comfortable than before I had it. I'm not mad at it The home app is the key if you fudge the parameters then it might be a headache...

So who’s the idiot that put that condenser against the siding? My God that’s beyond ridiculous like it is. First time it requires repairs customer needs to agree to it being moved so it’s serviceable, otherwise call somebody else, I wouldn’t deal with it as it is. That Nest is great (for generating service calls 😂) I hate those things, same with the Ecobee stats. Don’t get me started on ECM’s it won’t be pleasant. 😂

I have a take oh control board in my church basement with six zones. I’d like to take a 24 V plug-in adapter that has two wires on the other end and hook them into the sea wire and a common on a Wi-Fi thermostat so I can control the thermostat and change the program when I need to it will that mess up my Tico control board

I watched the video twice, I get it was a troubled install. The condenser was too close to the house and the access panel could have been outside instead of buried in the corner. The wiring was installed incorrectly on the emc motor and there’s some issue with the way it was installed. So who installed this condenser and air handler’s motor? A handyman or the homeowner? Sure seems suspicious.
