Hey I’m a postpartum nurse! Every hospital is different and in my opinion it’s better to over pack than under pack. The hospital should have most postpartum supplies and diapers and wipes and you can always ask for more before you leave. Anything that comes in your hospital room is yours to take because otherwise it’ll be thrown away. I definitely recommend bringing ALL the toiletries you want, some comfy socks and nursing pajamas, as well as depends!!! They have great discreet postpartum underwear which is much better than a bulky hospital pad lol Also for your cart, I would add some baby wipes and swaddles! Plus the nose frida, basically anything you might need in the middle of the night so you don’t have to get up and go to the nursery lol! Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions

Definitely okay to not be able to switch to non-toxic right away! Social media wants to project the most perfect things only, but we are not! As long as you have good ventilation it’s okay. Thanks for being so open and honest with us

EXTRA. LONG. CHARGERS. Literally the most used thing I added to my bag. The outlets are often sooo far from the hospital bed and after my c-sections I'm immobile for the first few days. C-section or not, they're sooo nice to have. Vaseline for your lips. The hospital really dried me out and it was a necessity for me. Gum was really nice to have. Peppermint helps me if I'm nauseous, too, so it was really convenient.

For the blankets you should get a blanket ladder or a big Wicker basket

For the blankets you could get cute fabric “laundry bin” and keep them in there!

I genuinely didn’t use half of what I put in my hospital bag because I had a c-section. 😂 But definitely pack at least one comfy outfit to either lounge in or go home in. Slippers are a necessity if you don’t like the grippy socks lol. Ask for extra mesh undies to take home from the hospital because they are TRULY the best! Also for your bedside cart, I would put extra pjs for baby boy on there in case of a blowout in the middle of the night. For blanket storage we have a big basket that sits beside her bed for all of them and it works perfectly 😊 hope this helps!

For your hospital bag - sitz bath, super absorb maxi pads or adult pull ups (6 weeks of bleeding)or postpartum pads. Nipple cream. Postpartum ice packs

Where's your makeup bag from?! I've tried to find a tortoise shell style bag like that forever and haven't had much luck finding a quality one.
