I teared up watching your pain during the c section... I had two c-sections with my two boys and its AN EVENT. I throw up, shake uncontrollably, have non-stop panic attacks, it's A LOT. My heart hurts that you had to go through it but praising God with y'all that it's ALL OVER and now you have sweet Roman!!!

Oh man so much of this resonates with me - I had an induction that started on a Monday at 6 pm and ended with an unplanned c-section at 6 am on Wednesday. Mourning the loss of the birth I wanted and accepting the birth I had was hard, but I am so proud of my son and me for kicking labor’s butt. I hope your recovery is going okay Chloe and congrats on sweet lil Roman!

I found your channel when you put out your ‘finding out I’m pregnant’ video and I’ve followed your journey to here!!! I’m so excited for you, Chloe!! I was also pregnant when I found your channel and has my first baby (little boy) in June!! I know it was definitely God that led me to your channel!! This video had me in all the feels and I thought it was so cute how you kept looking at the monitor at the start of your early slightly, less-painful contractions!😂 Also, your little Roman was born on my birthday🥺 You were totally glowing in the clip right before your surgery! You could see the pure joy and excitement on your face because you were finally getting to see your precious miracle. Congratulations you two!!!❤️

Third time mama here and I love watching how positive you all are here! Such a team🤗You actually can get contractions from that softening pill🥺Kind of crazy to think that but it’s what happens sometimes. I’ve been induced twice😔 Also you can have your water break without being dilated. Something else that can be discouraging. I’m glad things ended up with a healthy baby for you all and God took care of you throughout it❤️💕

I resonate with your birth story so much Chloe. I went through a rough induction process. Also went in on Monday and had my baby Wednesday night at 11:54pm. I almost had to have a c section but fought for some more time and was able to finally dilate and have a vagina birth. I cried a lot. I am so happy you had your husband and mom though because they are the best support. And happy you and Roman are safe and well

Same thing happened to me, induction turned c section, I got to 10 cm and pushed for 2.5 hours and my baby wouldn’t tolerate the pushing and began to get huge dips in his heart rate. I literally felt like a failure and had to mourn the loss of the birth I wanted/imagined for my baby. I had him 12/20 and love him so dearly. Watching this and see that we were induced the same weekend!!

Birth stories are so crazy and so different! I went into labor naturally late at night at 36 weeks exactly. 4am 36+1 we went to the hospital and I was 100% effaced and 5cm with super regular contractions so we thought baby was coming. My body froze, basically. Wouldn't dilate anymore and slowly my contractions stopped. Because I was preterm and already on the literal verge of active labor, they wouldn't let me go home, and made me stay hooked up to the monitors 24/7 except for potty breaks. They didnt want to progress things because i was preterm still, and they had to do a round of steroids to make sure my sons lungs could handle being alive. They also didn't let me eat for 3 days because of the possibility of having to have a c-section....I started having more really steady contractions at early in the morning 36+3, I was sitting at 6cm and said nothing had changed and gave me morphine to help me relax and go back to sleep. They finally were ready to start pitocin 36+4, but had to check me before they started it and I was between 7 and 8 cm. They gave me the tiniest amount of pitocin and had to stop it because my body was in a constant contraction and wouldn't let up. Thankfully my contractions never hurt until after they broke my water at 8 cm, and my son was born 45 minutes later with only 5 minutes of pushing. I was in labor for a total of 96 hours before my son was born and it was WILD. Congratulations to you guys, and I'm so glad baby is here.

This is soooo similar to how my birth went. I was due December 13th and our whole pregnancy I thought it was so cool to be so close in pregnancies and now it’s crazy how similar our births went. I swear this could have been my birth vlog lol. You are so strong mama and Roman is beautiful!💛

I also had an unplanned csection after a failed induction. It's hard but you'll love your baby regardless. Recovery can be challenging but it's definitely an experience of a lifetime. It feels so weird when they're inside you and tugging and pulling stuff around. I felt all my Organs shift down after my baby was out and I thought the doctor was like sucking my heart out 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃 such a weird feeling!!!

It’s illegal to film healthcare workers so that’s probably what that nurse was saying! However some medical teams don’t care and will give oral consent saying it’s fine to film them! Like I wouldn’t care, but it’s a major liability for hospitals and healthcare workers, and patients can get in trouble for filming without their consent! Hopefully that makes sense!!! Loved the video 💕 congrats to y’all on your precious boy!

Hey Chloe! New subscriber here! Just wanted to let you know that the same thing happened with me with the unplanned C-section. I was so emotional when they told me that I would be having a C-section due to baby boys heart rate dropping and I wasn’t really progressing after they induced me on the 17th of December. Ended up having baby boy on the 19th two days before his due date. Overall I have hated the C-section recovery process and had guilt over not having my preferred birth but I am so grateful that baby boy is here and healthy. And I just wanted to let you know that you kicked butt! And as long as baby boy arrives, it doesn’t matter which method he arrives in. Thanks for sharing your experience. I really related to it!
