I was wondering if that cup fit the Kleen Kanteen (comments on Amazon suggested that it no longer did which threw me). Just ordered one (wish you could buy the rubber handle version on it's own though). The Kanteen flat stopper is a better fit, though you might want something to silence the metal ring as it tends to make a bit of a clatter.
@PackedToLive9 жыл бұрын
Gewyne I agree it'd be nice to be able to get the siliconized handled version separately, however you _can_ remove the handles and get a small length of the silicone tubing to put on yourself ;)

GOOD NEWS! The GSI Glacier mug is available on Amazon! It nests perfectly with both the 40oz Klean Kanteen and the 32oz Nalgene. It's basically identical to the original Tatonka Handle Mug shown in this video! www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001LF3IB6/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B001LF3IB6&linkCode=as2&tag=reithewhe-21&linkId=7LR4L5NAD4I4G57V

Thank you! I'm looking for a one gallon water bottle. I love water so much, especially the Living Water. He invites us to drink freely. How Shall we neglect so great a salvation! Blessed is the man who drinks of the Water of Life freely. Thank you brother.

The handle mug has another advantage over the cup from the stove kit: It is easier to clean, because it doesn't have a border inside.
@PackedToLive9 жыл бұрын
Ist Geheim I can say from experience that this is absolutely true. Indeed, I did mention that specifically on the first take shooting this video, can't remember if I brought it up in the final take you see in this video though... so thanks for mentioning it :)

+Dominick Carbonara I have. Recommend using a small piece of amalgam tape around the metal D-ring to keep it from flapping about while you move (making that annoying clanging noise all the time). :)

Appreciate the upload, did not know about the Tatonka cups, that's a great bit of info. Do you know how they fit on a 1 liter Nalgene bottle? Also I see those items have not been in the fire, I only just discovered your channel, do you have a video that shows what set up you prefer for boiling water? Cheers.
@PackedToLive7 жыл бұрын
They have actually been on many fires. I just clean them extremely well from time to time to keep the sooting off :)

When does the imperial system stop....ridiculous to comprehend. Please go metric everyone...(really I mean, look at wiki: ....An imperial fluid ounce is 1⁄20 of an imperial pint, 1⁄160 of an imperial gallon or approximately 28.4 ml. A US fluid ounce is 1⁄16 of a US fluid pint, 1⁄128 of a US liquid gallon ....)

Umm I guess you never went to school 1fluid oz of water weighs 1 oz 16 oz to a pound or as the saying goes a pint and a pound world around so a quart weighs 2 pounds don't over complicate things.

@@PackedToLive Specifications Capacity 40 fluid ounces (1182 ml) This is what klean kanteen says on its web page....... I think klean kanteen uses U.S. oz, not U.K. oz...
