I just got back from Japan - we did a day in Kamakura which ended up being one of my favourite days, it's a train ride from Shinjuku in Tokyo. It was stunning, amazing temples, beautiful scenery, a beach etc. So glad we did it! Also we fell in love with Kyoto and wished we had longer there. It's all so great, you won't regret just an extra day in Tokyo or Kyoto!!

Alex - I highly recommend a day/night in Kinosaki Onsen. It's a hot springs town where they allow people with tattoos in the onsen. Each hotel offers an onsen pass where you can visit all 7 in the town. It's really special and in February they have a big festival. It's easy to get to from Kyoto and Osaka.

Hellowwww from Montréal Victoria, you know I'm 56 and I still suffer with acné so a year ago I've discovered PROSIL silicone stick for scars (from Amazon), it's pricey but it does work I kid you not. Excited for your trip Alex! I went a few years ago and it was incredible. I would say if you can leave a day or two to be spontaneous it’s so worth it because some places we went I was like ohhh I wish we just had one more day there! The most under rated place we went was a little town/ village on the way to Mt Fuji called Hakone. Lots of good photo ops of the mountain if you get a beautiful day! X

Advice on the hairpin: Twist your hair as you wrap it into a bun (this helps with maintaining tension), then take the hair fork and catch hair on the outer side of the bun, scoop under, and come out the other side. Think of making a U shaped dip with the hair fork as you push it through the bun vs just going straight through. It should hold securely! Lower buns take a bit more practice than high buns imo. :) Good luck!

Hi Victoria, great vlog, as always 😊 🌸 I just wanted to mention that your skin struggles are very familiar to me, especially before and after quitting contraceptive pills. But I find that what made a huge difference for me is cycle syncing and using spearmint, dandelion leaf and dandelion root tea, as well as raspberry leaf tea. Feels like it helped my body naturally balance out the hormones majorly in about 3 months and help sleep patterns as well. Perhaps it's worth the shot. Not a quick fix, but definitely a long term one ❤

Try drinking a glass of tart cherry juice with a scoop of magnesium powder mixed in before bedtime. I like to serve it in a pretty glass with ice cubes and make a moment of it. For Japan, Nikko is really beautiful easy accessible from Tokyo for example. Beautiful nature + temples and bridges, ect. Takayama and Shirakawago, longer train ride but very traditional old Japanese village. Beautiful Ryokan
