I have three of them net hammocks and if love using them. I showed one in a video once and got attacked and insulted by some folks that said I need to get into the present and get a modern hammock. I don't show it anymore but I still use it. Thanks for showing this guys.

how does it compare to a mayan hammock ? Can you hang it looser and sit on it perpendicular to it ?

My brother used this all the time in the Boy Scouts in the 80's here in So Cal.

You can take two large garbage bags, cut on open and tie one under the hammock with some air pocket in the bag. That will make you warmer on your back.

Don't buy a hammock shorter than 12 feet, 15 feet at best. Otherwise you'll feel like in a fish can.

I am trying to find out more info on the hammock pad or insulation. I am looking fore something to keep me warm in a hammock yet takes up very little space

I'm finding it hard to fine a small rope hammock like that a lot store have taken them off the market do to small kids choking them self in them.

Only a good friend can tell an embarassing story about you and get away with it. Great video guys, I started using a Hammock about two years ago, I started out with a net Hammock but to be honest it wouldn't hold up, I'm a big guy so weight was an issue,I ended up going to double Hammock.

Fellas, I liked this video and I was going to subscribe but going to your channel, I didn't see any actual camping, on-the-trail videos. There seems to be a lot of talk and how-to videos. I want to see the action and you guys doing your five, ten, fifteen, twenty mile days then setting up your gear and camps. I'm guessing you just enjoy these kinds of videos, more. Best to ya.

I have a nice hammock but If I were going to make a bug out bag I would def put a net hammock in it for all the reasons mentions plus you didnt mention it but its a bunch of cordage.

Dude I am thinking about going lite and was going to use your idea of net hammock, pad, and using a USGI bivy for a bag and rain protection. What about reflextecs for a wind pad? Hammocks can be very cold but do you think this would provide enough protection? George
