Micheal, you made a small mistake regarding the number of participants in Palestine Congrss in Germany. There was about 800 tickets sold for the Palestine Congress. I squatted several times in London in the 80s: met some amazing people! One landlord in Ladbroke Grove wanted to throw us out but was reasonable enough to grant us a verbal licence enabling us to stay at a notional 'one week's notice' in case he found an actual paying tenant. We were there for months, keeping the place clean, tidy, lit and warm: an Edwardian townhouse, with a flight of steps up to the grand pillared portico, etc. Those were the days.
