Netball South Africa confirmed the appointment of Jenny Van Dyk as the new head coach of the senior women's national team. President of Netball South Africa, Cecilia Molokwane, said Van Dyk's incredible success at the domestic level, is one of the main reasons for her appointment as the new Proteas coach. Van Dyk will occupy the Proteas hot seat for the next four years and the new assistant coach is former Proteas captain and coach of the University of Stellenbosch, Zanele Mdodana.
