I have to agree with the masses here that the 3rd episode is awful and retroactively undoes almost everything good the show achieved up to that point

Great episode! Episode 1: I fell in love with Sister Agatha Van Helsing! Episode 2: What happened to Sister Agatha why are we playing...oh....ok...the episode 1 castle and church was a better setting for this but whatever. Hope this boat is at least going somewhere interesting. Episode 3: We're in modern day, ok. Dr Zoe Van Helsing is cool but I'm really in love with Sister Agatha! Sister Van Helsing should have been a show of its own where she goes around Sherlock Holmes-ing supernatural events. Who would win in a battle of wit...Dolly Wells as Sister Agatha or Christopher Waltz as Hans Landa? I don't know but I wish I could be a fly on the wall if they were to meet!

Dracula eps 1&2 are🤗 I agree most of ep3 was... WTF? The first 30min o ep3 is fine then -meh😑

I was enjoying it until the twist/time jump. Didn’t care for the ending, loved the actors who played Dracula and Van Helsing.

I enjoyed Dracula. Thought it was a really good deconstruction of the character. I don't think the Lucy b plot in episode 3 worked that well, but I enjoyed the ending of it quite a bit. Seems like it would be a part of Moffat's other re-imagining series Jekyll.

Haleigh's right awards are a racket haha. I loved the first two episodes of Dracula but the third was so all over the place. I think parts of it would have worked if they kept it in the past but others parts would have been just as wonky.

Although I don't mind the time jump thing in theory, it's the inconsistent tone I couldn't forgive. The gothic horror in ep 1 largely became action in ep 2 and then comedy in ep 3. For me anyway. Saying that, Van Helsing's dig at Englishmen near the beginning did make me laugh -- in a stfu kind of way. After that I was fully expecting subtitles throughout, at the nunnery and between the Demeter's crew, but no. Just more English with vague, eastern European accents. Kinda hypocritical from the BBC
