There's actually a shooting technique to lower the height difference between actors and actresses while filming, it is frequently used. Have you ever heard of an actor or actress being much shorter than how you thought they appeared in scenes? It was due to this shooting technique. In the case of this show, they've purposely done the very opposite of this shooting technique and tried to emphasise the size difference between the taller female lead and all the smaller male actors as much as possible. You will see this to the extreme during all the one to one scenes with the love interest.

You build up resident evil for 25 years to hand it over to Netflix who you know is not gonna make a faithful adaptation. They know Netflixs track record and they did it anyway. I feel like that’s one of the most underrated as far as resident evil goes only because it actually made some interesting plot points even if it wasn’t as good as the original trilogy, i thought it was the most story driven of all the RE games. Thank you for promoting Dragon's Dogma, it's flawed Gem, it has it's own a number of issues, but still a quite uncommon Gem for it's year of release, even considerably a rare gem compared to majority of AAA games in the past 2 years or so Also I suggest you to play Binary Domain, Vanquish, Bayonetta series and Yakuza spin off games (akin to Fist of The North Star), these games are so good and underrated for more recommendation pieces of games from the past decade or so

The spin off to Yakuza that you're referring to is Judgment. Has literally a ton of cutscenes, and it's a story driven open world game, but it's more polished and simply more fun than most western made open world games. I second Vanquish. Some of the tightest controls and the gameplay is awesome.
