Song Jia has mastered the art of manipulation & seduction in a good way. She knows exactly who she was gonna end up with but that didn’t stop her from enjoying what the other boys have to offer. She has them wrapped around her finger, and knows how to make them wait. I’ve noticed she likes to listen more than talk which is interesting cause such a trait gives her an advantage to know the guys feeling without revealing hers too much.

To a certain degree I understand what you're saying; it may be entertaining to see in television but I don't see how stringing somebody along just because you want to have fun can be beneficial. There's a difference when there's a mutual agreement between both parties that they're not there for a relationship, but it's different when one of them thinks that the other person does have true feelings for them. What she was doing here is manipulation and it'd also be if the one acting like this were a man or a non-binary individual. This is not a characteristic one should aspire to have.

I get why some people don't like jintaek but he was just trying to get to know ppl, if i was in a show with lots of hot people...i would too. I mean soyeon wasn't even interested in him in the beginning. I remember when jintaek and soyeon went to paradise together, soyeon said that "i went to this island not looking for a younger guy. Reason - communication is important to me and i just don't find that with a younger guy" imagine how jintaek felt when he heard that? And she just laughed and said that she thought jintaek was older than her (maybe even wishing jintaek was joking and said he's older). When it comes to choosing a date on second one, they don't get to choose same couple. (Don't forget that soyeon still interested in sehoon). I'm pretty sure soyeon was hoping that sehoon would pick her to go to the paradise. But she was suddenly angry that jintaek was chosen by jiyeon. Honestly, jintaek was the last person i think would get to be picked by jiyeon. (I really hope it was sehoon but she didn't like him that much). But srsly, u guys only know each other for like 3 days? Let the man choose whoever he wants (and you too). How selfish. Maybe soyeon wants to keep jintaek by herself? Idk. Then proceeds to go to sehoon to talk about her feelings. Like girl, aren't you the same? But whatever. Can't wait for your reaction to the last 2 eps.

well in so yeon's defense she never said "I'm only going to paradise with you, there's no else here..." Jin taek went back on his word, which is understandable, but when he was confronted abt it he could've just been upfront and said we had to choose a different people, so I chose the second person that I could potentially be interested in... I think the fact that he kept switching his answer was annoying.

I completely agree with your analysis of Sehoon and Soyeon’s heated convo. Tbh I picked up on Sehoon’s hurt ego and pride early on into the show. He wears his feelings so openly, it’s hard not to see it. He really doesn’t seem to take rejection well and he tries too hard. Right from episode one I kept saying “Dude chill, dial it down”.

Am I the only one who thought Jiyeon didn't really like Sehun until the very last minute. I mean she had absolutely no interest, ZERO, in Sehun until the end of the 6th episode. But suddenly in the 7th episode, she is interested? And that much at that? I think Jiyeon literally settled for the guy simping after her because she didn't have any other choice after the 6th episode. The guys she slightly showed interest in didn't pan out and she did not want to end up alone in the last choice thing.

@@Susie_Chan the conversation he has with soyeon kinda proves exactly how he feels about other people. he comes off as extremely selfish. he explained to her that it really hurt his feelings when she said he might be making shin jiyeon uncomfortable. but instead of looking at his behavior objectively, he decided to take issue with the fact that it hurt is pride. and instead of rationally telling soyeon that he’s not okay with her bringing that up to him her rather hear it from jiyeon he literally screams at her saying “you didn’t need to talk to me like that!” at his big age. he’s too sensitive to be introspective and think about how he may make others around him feel. it was disgusting & repulsive to watch how his creepy behavior was rewarded with jiyeon saying yes in the end. in real life you can’t make that your strategy. most women probably would NOT appreciate being hounded like that. I personally feel like that way of relentlessly pursuing a woman isn’t attractive like how the show described it, it’s scary/gross.
