because no one can be trusted not men or women, dont blame it on the guys when women don't really do their part also last time i checked a relationship is a 2 way street, the man and the woman have to put both legs in not just the guys, if the guy is in and the woman is not then sorry but he will go to someone who is in just like women do the same, so dont make this into an issue that is not really an issue, you know your heart more than anyone else, have you ever been truthful or trustworthy to others. so you really cant be sitting her bashing someone else

I'm not happy with how Jin taek acted cold towards Soyeon when he got back from paradise with the other girl especially when how he lied and downplayed how much he and Soyeon connected in paradise when Jiyeon asked about what they talked about. And don't get me started on how he gaslighted her on how it's her fault for not coming to him or making moves to be near him when his bitch ass wasn't even looking her way since he got back to the island. I'm glad Soyeon stood her ground during their talk and basically called him out for playing with her feelings. Some people even tried coming to Jin taek's defense saying Soyeon wasn't into him at the beginning which is true but given how she chose to go to paradise with him and how much of a great time they had, it's clear to everyone she likes him now especially when she talked about how nice it was being with him to the girls in the tent. Here's my big problem with jin taek even after getting the girl he likes to like him, the second another girl likes him he forgot about Soyeon's existence, and then he downplayed how much he connected with soyeon when he was with the other girl. Jin taek was like seemed like prince but I knew he was too good to be true and I was waiting for him to slip up and he did, that man is a smooth operator. But given how after the talk with soyeon went things between them got better, I'm glad they worked it out but I'm still watching him.

Yes sis! Tell it louder for the people in the back who think it is soyeon who is at fault here. Of course saying that she is never attracted to younger guys repeatedly to him is basically rejection, she did say she liked him and showed a lot of signs here and there and even if she still didn’t show any love there was no reason for jintaek to lie! I have a history with manipulators like him and let me tell you, he definitely is one. Someone wouldn’t just straight up lie if you didn’t show signs of love.

Don’t trust any of the men on the show. They either boring, simps, or want choose girls that don’t like them. I honestly only like the girls on the show and when I’m warming up to a guy he gives me a reason to hate him.

Tbh I never thought of it this way. Maybe the reason Sehoon doesn’t bring his flirting game on when he talks to Jiyeon like he does with literally all the other girls is because he really likes her. Maybe he’s just a natural flirt, but in front of the one he likes he doesn’t know how to express himself, and wants to let her know she’s different and special to him and it isn’t a game to him.

It didn’t seem like it was Sehoon’s problem to me. The girl wasn’t talking much or making effort to engage in a convo, there was not much he could do. He did all he can asking questions and she never asked anything back.

But the thing is he doesn't even know why he likes her, she "looks" pure or innocent is all speculation. He said he likes her cuz shes not what he normally goes after , thats not a reason to like someone. I think he's just got a hurt ego and he's trying to make sure he doesn't falter. But this was a good learning lesson for him, not everyone will like him just cuz hes handsome or established love doesnt work like that.

@@ot7stan207 true, I pointed that out in a reply in the first yt video for episode 1-2. It is a bit weird he said he likes her because she’s different from his usual type when there’s also one of the new girls who’s his exact opposite, but he didn’t go for her. Anyways it’s obvious he’s a narcissist and can’t handle rejection, I mean in the first interview even he himself said he was unpopular because others think he’s popular. However he never really crossed the line with her, he always left when she felt uncomfortable, he’s just really persistent. I think the only reason he stopped talking to her for a while was because Hyeongjoon pointed out that she might want to get to know everyone else and maybe she felt like she’s spending too much time talking to one person which is reasonable since they don’t have much time on inferno. Honestly idek at this point. I’m hoping he’s not a creep though and he really likes her since I’ve been rooting for him since episode one, but tbh I’m not even sure. He was giving me a little bit of Jin Taek vibes for some reason like he’s just toying with her, but I hope for the best. Let’s just hear why he chose Jiyeon in the next episodes.

Agreed with the commentary re: how different Sehoon is toward Jiyeon compared to the other girls. I've noticed that also. He's obsessed with Jiyeon and that obsession seems to be bringing out less rather than more of his charm. Sehoon's desire to possess Jiyeon is making her very uncomfortable. Soyeon tried to point that out to him as a friend and Sehoon wouldn't listen. Unrequited love is just so sad.

@@beverlyho9559 agreed with all this, but in my opinion So-Yeon told him that not as a friend really, but because she noticed she might be left single in the house because Jin Taek, the only one who actively pursued her had started finding Jiyeon interesting for whatever reason. She wanted Sehoon as her back up plan, since she never really liked Jin Taek anyways and finding out his age made it certain she wasn’t interested in him, she wanted Sehoon. She said all those things to force him to give up on Jiyeon and focus on her, then she pushed him to know his feelings for her. Even though So-Yeon was right about his obsession she let Sehoon know about it in an undesirable way for her selfish reasons and Sehoon called her out on her bs. To me I get the feeling that since So-Yeon doesn’t have any really love interests she’s taking the show as a game to win and she’s being really competitive so she doesn’t end up single at the end and it really shows because despite everything as soon as Sehoon rejected her she went back to Jin Taek because she knew at that point he was her only option.

I watch this show w my gf and she’s having a blast, but I think the way the guys behave is super cringey. Maybe it’s a cultural thing, but these guys are confessing their ever dying love to a girl after literally 2 days of knowing the girl. And that boxer girl came off as being the nice one at first, but in later episodes she’s starting to be a bit manipulative while under the guise of being concerned. And she piles on the pressure immediately. Dunno. We will probably finish the season tonight and see if any of that has changed.

I’m kinda having a hot cultural confusion minute, because when I wasted 1/10th of my life happily binging Mr. Sunshine, there were lots of looooooong instances of intense, sustained eye contact that to my mind went on a bit too long, but were clearly meant to convey passionate (essentially unfulfilled) romance 😂 I know that’s a fictional drama (though isn’t this also fictional, in a sense? 😆), and set in the early 1900s, moreover, but the cast on this show make it seem like locking gazes is a precious commodity to save for the one you marry. Loving these videos! Edit: ok, so it dawned on me that I probably sound like a moron comparing the flirtation etiquette portrayed on a k-drama that’s probably not *terribly* dissimilar in tone to some American soap operas with the etiquette displayed on a dating show (however scripted/staged) with real life people not *totally* acting. And I do see that, I promise 😅

Some Koreans get double eyelid surgery to make their eyes look more open. Double eyelids are what Caucasian people have naturally (an extra crease in the eyelid) Where as Koreans tend to have mono-lids.

It’s hilarious. 😂 I just don’t understand what Ji-yeon doesn’t like about Se-hoon because is the best guy out of all the guys on the show. Even when she said there is no chemistry… she never even tried to engage the poor guy when he tries to talk to her. 😤 She is a silly girl.

eee I think he seems a little narcissistic. Perhaps, he's just not her type. I think they did have conversations here and there, but since she is never interested in him in the first place, the conversation went mostly one-sided. And Se-hoon should have just written her a letter in the first place, I think that might have given him a chance. Anyway, if she's already given him the signal that she's not interested many times, he should have moved on and not continue dwelling on the fact that he can't accept her rejection. but then Se-hoon's story/drama is definitely the juiciest and carrying the show, so in that sense, he's a smart participant lol.
