yes its ridicoulus ive had Netflix for a long time and I called to ask them why are they the only one raising prices? they are the only ones who do, I told them hulu doesn't raised prices if anything they are having a 5.99 special. it includes adds but that's ok and I pay 5.99 for amazon prime being on disability and the price wont be raised. so I asked Netflix why they are the only ones raising the price and I told them they need to have lower prices for people in certain demos that cant afford for them to keep raising the price>? the Netflix rep told me that because they are going to have better programming that's why and I told wrong hulu has wonderful shows winning awards,

They have to convert their service into a live tv service which would compete with sling, hulu tv, youtube tv, playstation and direct tv streaming services. Sling is the cheapest with its base at $25/month so wed have to cough up at least $30 a month if they did that. However, they could keep their current service separate and also have a live tv service similar to how hulu has different service offerings.

Netflix is way to far behind when it comes to some shows. For some shows, Netflix is not up to current seasons or is missing a lot of things. For instance, Netflix only has season one of attack on Titan while the show is currently on season 3. And the Pokemon anime does not have the complete full first season, and then they skip seasons 2-17, completely gone. Some of the most searched things on Netflix, other than trends, are things THAT ARE NOT ON NETFLIX.

As a owner of both I have to agree that hulu movies are not good but the TV shows are great. The audience is different for both companies (anime, TV shows, daily uploads, drama, live TV which means news sports and etc). Netflix has better movies and targets younger audiences because they have avengers, love dramas, love movies, and of course Stranger Things. Btw I'm 13 and this is my honest review. I prefer hulu because I love sports, news, cartoons, and adult cartoons.

I’ve used Netflix my whole life, but they’ve removed multiple of my favorite shows. Why?? Probably just to make more originals. I’m just hating on Netflix because they removed Impractical Jokers and Regular Show Honestly, Netflix is only good because of its Netflix originals, like The Umbrella Academy, Stranger Things, Locke and Key, and a few others, Hulu is great for nostalgic cartoons like Regular Show, Adventure Time, etc So I would give Netflix 7/10 This is due to frequently not catching up on seasons of shows, and constantly removing shows to add horrendous shows like “Cuties”, but it makes up for this by having some of my favorite shows ever like The Umbrella Academy And Stranger things Hulu would get 9/10 This is because it doesn’t try to clear up space by getting rid of our old favorite shows to add boring shit or horrendous shows like Cuties. Yes ,on Hulu "Some" shows still have adds. It's Due Licensing reasons. which Hulu explains if you read everything . As for Netflix , They Just raised the prices Again! A few things you missed. Netflix is free with T-Mobile depending on the deal package you pick. Netflix has a age restriction component. There is a website ( i forgot it, just Google it) that tells you what shows are coming/leaving Netflix. I think you can give your own personal ratings of a show on Netflix.

Netflix forced me to open a Hulu account when they, unannounced, dropped the first 3 seasons of Heartland. It is certainly their right to make decisions such as this but a little heads up would have allow those watching such series to binge watch series segments which were about to be dropped. The ad supported Hulu service is filled with commercials repeated ad nauseam. There are many services which do not flood a program with a bunch of low budget and often very dumb commercials. As soon as I catch up on Heartland, Hulu will be dropped.

Figured to try Hulu, much more of a t.v watcher than movies, and while Netflix does have great content, most people subscribe to find and watch their favorite content. Netflix marvel series being booted in favor of Disney licensing issues is a bummer, but loving the fact most cable shows are on Hulu, debut after they air in 24 hrs and offer just that little extra over Netflix.

Hulu has a lot more shows and movies than Netflix but with Hulu even if you get a subscription they still give tons of ads that can go from 20 seconds to 90 and there are about 5 ads every episodes. Netflix has no ads but less shows and movies, that I understand because it just costs too much. But they need to remove shows ALOT which kinda sucks.

I have Prime, Hulu and Netflix Streaming and DVD Services. I've been with Netflix since they started and use to get up to 8 DVDs at a time for $6.99 month. You could return them and get more, unlimited every month. I'd get 8, copy them and return them and repeat as fast as the mailman couldget them here. I've got thousands of DVDs copied and now downloaded to digital external harddrives. But, now you can only get 2 at a time. You can have more people on the streaming service watching at the same time.. The only problem is searching for something new, when you don't have a clue as to what you want to watch. They need an alphabetical list of the titles and they hold the recent releases for the DVD service.

Netflix wins for me as hulu is not available in my country. This will be a huge downside to hulu. I have Netflix, Amazon prime and kayo. Kayo is purely sports and gives me access to all sports from around the world including NBA and NFL and local sports.

If you live in Malaysia they have another plan for netflix that is rm17 which is $3 but its mobile plan so you can't watch it on TV or laptop
