Smattless while I agree that we’re losing our minds far too much over the environment it’s not like Earth is doing fine regardless of us either. Deforestation threatens biodiversity on a massive scale, for example, and this documentary series does a pretty good job naming plenty of things that have been destroyed. Overfishing has also seriously messed up environments across the planet. The fact that for every destroyed ecosystem you can name two that are flourishing doesn’t actually change the facts, it just puts them into perspective but since the value of life is so subjective the scale is pointless anyways.

It’s absolutely amazing how I was texting my significant other while watching this video. At the moment I received a disturbing text from her, I decided to put the text down and pay attention to the documentary. I looked down and read your message. & I felt as if God was sending me a message. Thank you so very much for making this post. I felt better instantly after reading it. ❤ You’re good for the soul

Yea, but theres also the other aspect. Would these species do the same if they where the dominant species? Probably We are nature too. We just have enough power to decide what happens.
@rslwannabe94753 жыл бұрын
Ill tell you why (IF other human species have existed) where sucessful. They most likely didn't populate the world, but a city sized section. They would have a shitton more resources, wouldn't be destroying the earth, would have less people to take care of, and could research and function better. And that is why sacrifices most likely happened, to keep the city limit.

We need to be the positive changes we want to see in our world people . Schools need to be teaching our children who are the future of our world to love and protect and cherish nature. Love and light to our world.

First of all, let me preface what I'm about to say by letting you know that for the past eight years I have been living with severe depressive disorder, so my view is going to be somewhat jaded. I grew up in the 1970s watching with fascination the documentaries of David Attenborough. "Life on Earth" introduced me to this man who continued with programs such as "The Living Planet", "The First Eden", "The Trials of Life" and probably my favourite, "Life in the Freezer". There are dozens of others but I won't go through the entire list here. Summing it up, David Attenborough was my hero. I learned so much from his programs that no school curriculum could ever come close. Then, after 2000, the narrative seemed to change. Programs like "State of the Planet", "Planet Earth", "The Truth about Climate Change" and many more. This latest instalment, while as always, incredible with its stunning visuals and intimate views of world-wide fauna and flora continue to tell me that the world is deteriorating and it's my fault. Because of me, dams are drying up rivers. Because of me, wild lands are being converted to agricultural farmlands. Because of me, virgin forests are disappearing to make tables, chairs, pianos and countless other commodities to the exclusion of the wild creatures that inhabited those forests. I do understand that the world is suffering from the industrialisation that mankind has developed. But using language like "we", "us" or "our" hits a nerve that makes me feel worse about myself than I already did. I never chopped down a single tree, never once dammed a river and whenever I came across a wild animal, I treated it with respect and sometimes even befriended a few. Urban kangaroos will often happily approach if you have a handful of rice cakes. So why try to make me feel guilty by saying that "we" are destroying habitats? Put the blame where it lies...the governments, corporations and over-zealous agriculturalists who put these destructive activities in place with little to no remediation. I love nature and do whatever I can to help the tiny area in which I live. Please stop making me feel like the degradation of the world is down to me. Please, David. Be my hero again.

I wish you guys would upload more free full animal planet stuff, especially david attenborough stuff. This is really relaxing to watch. I love animal planet type of documentaries. I wish netflix added more on the app it's self. I feel like there's no app that has a decent amount. I mean I've watched almost every david attenborough doc can't find anyone better that makes me emotionally connect like David does. I try every app. And they all have boring or just not this kinda stuff. It's very frustrating cuz you would think animal planet docs would be the easiest freest thing around. But it's not unfortunately. Y'all got a bunch of weird full episodes.. this the only real content right here y'all producing lol Please upload more david attenborough

Extraordinary, Mind Boggling, Spectacular, Overwhelming, The best documentary on mother nature i have ever seen in my life. Though at the starting of the video, i was enjoying the view the videography the narration but it didn’t went the same till the end. I was not able to express the pain i felt at the end of the video. We as human needs to take care of our nature, animals, plants, wildlife, or else there’ll be just a memory of them & we’ll never ever see them again. I hope we as humans will do justice with our planet without being greedy for ourselves. Thank you Netflix for this amazing, mind blowing, and extremely informative documentary. I Pledge to take care of my mother earth and i need all of us to take part & build the earth a better place for all. ❤️🌍❤️
