This show has ZERO stress level and it’s a great show if you’re feeling sad and stressed out and don’t want to think about the hard stuff, and just catch a break from work, school and personal problems. I’m starting to accept why this type of show exists- and I use it to my own benefit. It’s such a comfort show. But I do hope this show close to an end though, don’t want them to drag too far and be a total disaster. 4/5 seasons is good enough though. Still can’t wait to see the 4th season, also who else felt weird watching the show in the summer when the last seasons had premiered in the fall/winter?!

My theory based on the trailer and knowledge of storytelling. The first part of the season is going to be Emily just being Emily - after the mess of last season she wants to focus on herself and move on from both guys which is probably more difficult than expected. In the second half she will most likely find her way back to Gabriel - cause that's the man she deep down truly wants.

Like we use to do before digital content.. you use to have to wait a full week again for every episode, then they had winter hiatus between the Holidays and late January/early February, then another with spring break, then the end of the season. 7-8 months of a season spread out. That’s why people use to buy VHS & DVDs so they could binge stuff far easier instead of waiting for summer binge re-runs.

I grew up with one episode per week and I loved the feeling of anticipation, I love dying to know what will happen next, feeling myself on the edge of my seat. These 2 part TV shows don't make me feel that way. I still like them, but it's definitely not the same. I liked the old formula better, simple as that.

Just finished watching the season. Have to say I really find this show entertaining. At some points the succession of events is a bit too fast but still likable. Loved that Emily in Paris could become Emily in...Rome! I love the link and love in between American and European culture. Also love the way the show underlines how European people nowadays are very interconnected (which is true). Countries like Italy and France are portrayed as very friendly with bilingual people (which is actually very common nowadays). Love also that the show lend one hand to China. It might be very light and carefree but it showcases how globalism is a fact and isn't necessary a treat.

Since this is the trailer for the first half of the season only and it leads us believing she chooses herself in the end and ends up with neither of them, I guess the second halb of the season will be about eventually realising that she can do it alone but doesn't want to. I’m watching it now. I’m on E2 thus far. So far, I think they messing-up a little bit. In S4E1 - why would Julian place an order during Luke’s presentation. They are at a point of maturity to know not to do that. I thought that that was very “Three’s Company” & writers could have done better with that. AGAIN! Lily Collins responses are too soon for any human personality. When Luke was freaking out about something in the office, she too soon yelled his name. In rehearsal, they should be going over how her expression is A RESPONSE to what he is saying. How a unison collab.

Isn't this a show that is basically marketing Paris to us? Like Netflix and Paris teamed up to create a show to bring Paris back into our lives/revamp tourism over there? Since they know the target demo for the show, they probably know that most of us after we watch it have some desire to want to now go to Paris for a visit. For example: they show us her office, points of interest, little hidden places only people who watch the show might know about and I searched it - these spots are now a part of a a whole tourism walking tour that starts at 70 euros. Maybe I am thinking too much into it but it could very much be true!

It’s released like this cause the America actors & writers are SAG-AFTRA & WGA. The first part was filmed before the SAG & WGA strike of last year. Then once the strike ended things picked back up. But they had to rush season two because of the Summer Olympics not allowing ANYONE to film for almost 2-3 months before the games to get everything ready in time! Put that all together & that’s why you see some platforms splitting current shows this year into two parts.
