"A Whisker Away" is one of The BEST animé movies I've ever watched with great story and OSTs. In fact, "Usotsuki" will always be my all-time favourite animé OST💜. I'm literally OBSESSED with this song😌. I hope Netflix produces more animé movies of this genre with more OSTs from Yorushika soon.

@@kyrelleprades198 ohh hell yess, I'll be honest it did get a little boring recently especially cuz like a year ago for my live performance final project of "Ableton Live" subject (I'm studying Sound Engineering, Ableton is an audio/music software), I actually tried to remake the instrumental myself and tried to sing this song for that.. (though i messed up because it took me longer than expected to work on the instrumental and didn't get much time to practice and i was trying to mug up the lyrics the night before, so the cat caught my tongue during performing, it's still alright because i was in the studio with my faculty and just 10 other batchmates in there so no huge regrets)..

I adore both this song and this movie, but I think out of three Yorushika's songs that become this movie's ost, only Ghost in a Flower that matched with A Whisker Away's theme. This song is about two person's drift off until the 'singer' forget everything about their lover, but still waiting for them, right? Let's say it matches, so who's the 'singer' then? I think Hinode is more fitting 🤔 As for the song itself, I'm guessing it still related to its own album (Creation by Yorushika), but to this movie I don't really think so?

I agree a lot. Liar seems to be almost like the opposite of Ghost in A Flower since that one talks about the wish of being with someone and Liar about forgetting someone over time. It seemed like an interesting choice for it to go in mid-credits after Ghost in A Flower in the opening credits but I never really found the sense in that choice (other than giving Yorushika fans an early glimpse of their upcoming album)
