I survived office life by showing up fifteen minutes late. Then I typically sneak in through a side door, so bosses such as Mr. Lumberg didn’t see me, and I did maybe about forty-five minutes or so of actual work. After that, I would just “space out”, for the rest of the day, but pretend to look busy so that no one bugs me. I’m motivated to work just hard enough not to get fired.

I wish I had an office job, you work indoors and you get paid very well. The grape field is exhausting, you get up early, and you are outside all day long picking grapes, carrying them, then packing them. If it gets too hot you are forced to go home early. If it rains it's too muddy to work and so there's no work. No work means no money. It's been raining a lot here.

たしかに、あそこまで追い込まれてしまうのには、烈子さん🐼の注意の仕方以外に原因があるかもしれません。けれど注意の仕方のほうにも違和感を感じます。 「電話対応できないのは社会人としてダメ」という話だと、足掻いても電話対応できない人は社会人として生きてはダメだということになります。でも本当はそうではないでしょう。 どう一人で頑張っても、何度血の滲むような努力を繰り返そうとも、人には特性上難しいこともあります。それが穴井さん🦡にとって「電話対応をすること」だった場合、たしかに人格を否定されたと感じてしまっても無理はないです。 だから、「このままではいけないから、どうやったらできるか一緒に方法を考えよう」とか、「それでどうしてもできないなら、あなたにできる仕事を考えよう」という姿勢で指摘するのが本当はよかったのじゃないかと考えます。 ただ、この会社の環境はひどいもんです(笑)💦烈子さんのような社員が、部下へ適切な対応ができないといった事態も、引き起こされかねませんよね。とにかくひとり(一匹🐾?)の社員だけの責任じゃあないと思います。 このお話はフィクションだけど、似たようなことは現実の社会でも起こってるなぁと思ったので、気合いいれてコメントしてみました😊
