The context behind Petra's coming out scene is actually so badass...the dude she was with (Milos) is her abusive ex-husband, and in an earlier scene that episode when he found out Petra was in love with a woman he declared, "Now I know why you didn't love me! You're a lesbian!" So to set him straight, Petra leaned in right when he was about to get arrested (as we see in this clip) whispering, "Btw I'm bisexual...IT'S YOU." Just to emphasize that she was fully capable of being attracted to him; she just wasn't because he was a massive jerk. 😁 Petra was such a badass in the later seasons of Jane the Virgin. 🏳‍🌈

I love this so much and I have a small story 😅 I came out to my parents as Bi-Sexual and sadly my parents don’t believe me that I am Bi, we were at dinner at a restaurant and my mom bought up how I had a pride sticker in my car when my dad picked me up from school and in my head I was like “why didn’t you just bring it up then instead of now” I didn’t say anything of cause it’s my business of course however, I was mad cause it’s annoying how my parents are old fashioned and they chose to not be open minded and they are the parents who are ok with lgbtq people as long it’s not their kids which is sad, I’m in college of course but I still have to hide my pride pins from my parents and etc, but I don’t care what they say, I know who I am and they can’t stop me from being me. I chose to not come out as non binary to them cause I know they will have the same reaction as they did before.
