I'm so happy to see Omar Sy getting the leading roles he deserves, he smashes it in Lupin. I took notice of him in Burnt, which had so much going for it - great cast and all but Weinstein seemingly decided to filter and doom it, cutting it down to terrible dialogue and selling it as a Bradley Cooper romance.

I saw it many times... In French. Put on the English subtitles don't go for the dub over or whatever they call it. Watch the original it in French. Way better. Great movie. And the Lupin series? EXCELLENT!!!

I was hesitant to watch Netflix Lupin but now cant help but notice his talent and range playing this character. What a fantastic series. Thank you for listing his other movies etc. He has grown as an actor and it shows. Recommend Lupin to those who dont like a predictable story line.

I recommend whole-heartedly the show "Hippocrate" if you're looking for another French series. It's about young doctors in the internal medicine service while an outbreak quarantines all the older experienced doctors. One word of warning though, the medical jargon is quite hard to grasp sometime.

Omar Sy is an amazing actor! Such a chill, humble guy. Loved his performances in Jurassic World, The Call of the Wild, X-men, his portrayal of Assane Diop in Lupin is my personal favorite, the vibe of the character is absolutely incredible, Omar steals the show in every scene.

Omar Sy is very famous in France, as a good talented actor and funny guy. I highly recommand his movies : Chocolat, Samba, The wolf's call, and more recently : Les Tirailleurs (which is a dramatic fantastic movie about the African soldiers who fought and died in the French army during Worl War I).

U maybe all know "The Upside" with two brilliant actor trying to act their best to transcribe all the emotions from the original movie "Intouchables". French are loving this movie because we actually didn't have a lot of good movies, the headlining movies are often bad, maybe 90% of them. With "Intouchables" we had something to be proud with an actor who wasn't the "best french actor", with this movie he proved to all the other french actors that anyone could act perfectly if they just give everything of themselves. For real you absolutely have to watch "Intouchables" in french if possible to heard how the emotions are transcribe and to read the subtitles who would give you an idea of the exact lyrics. "The Upside" cannot be compared to the original movie because those two actors who carried the movie just give 100% of themselves at every second of it. U will have a real idea of what the average french is living with the Omar Sy character. Trust me, you would love it. Good viewing !
