i really love this cast. they look so in love with what they have created, and that even if they have seen the scenes hundred of times they will still feel very emotional towards it bc of the true meanings on what they capture from those scenes. Charles is an amazing actor. He put in so much work for this roll and absolutely killed it! I would have to say he is my new favorite actor. His emotion is always so real. Especially in the scene when he saved Sarah. You can read his mind just through his facial expressions. That scene was the first one to ever make me cry in any movie or show. In season 4 the home girls and I need to know what happened in Kie’s kook year. Rafe and Kie seem very familiar with each through out the seasons, some examples Rafe calling her “Kie,” telling jj “Kiara looks pretty hot for a pouge,” when he told Kie this season “I always liked you I mean you’re at least half kook” mmm seems like they have a history and you can’t deny their chemistry. Hopefully Kie confides in Jj and tells him what happened in her kook year and even goes out of her way to warn Sofia about Rafe which would create more drama between the kooks and pouges, just an idea 🤭

The scene where big John dies is a good scene. I interpreted it different than the cast. Not to take away from their interpretation of their hard work but I didn't feel like big John was regretful about the gold. Im not saying he doesn't have regrets about missing out on Jon b growing up but in general, seeing and touching that gold was a life long dream come true, it was the fruit of the labor. He looked at that gold AND Jon b like they were both equal to him. Big John says in an earlier episode "if im breathing im hunting" (for treasure) he knew who he was and accepted that part of him. On numerous occasions he mentions finding it with just the 2 of them, father and son, he wanted to share that with Jon b more than anything and laying there in the boat with the gold and his son, I think big John was finally at peace.

Season 3 was everything I want for a show. I did not expect for it be emotionally distressing especially when Rafe is deciding whether or not to continue doing what he had in mind. I really didn't trust and believe anything that Ward until he made a deal with Singh and being the unexpected hero. Thank you Netflix and the directors for deciding to make this franchise as long as they could.

The scene were Big John passed away they were saying he had regret which I can see but I also think he was content although he missed John B’s childhood he finally accomplished his goal he found El Dorado with his son and he knows that John B will be okay because he has Sarah and the pogues looking out for him, they’re his family and they all love each other. SIDENOTE: I wonder if they went back and got more gold, I hope they fill us in on what happened in those 18 months in season 4 can’t wait

When the bells started ringing and ‘murder in the city’ started playing a balled my eyes out. The song is by the avett brothers and I have been a fan of them my whole life. (I’m 12) and my mom basically raised me with that song and to see it on tv of one of my favorite shows was crazy.
