Their values are polar opposite because of their different childhoods, but their passion and craziness and the way they fight for what they belive in, is so similar. i actually have a szn 4 theory. so they are doing the search for the ship, and realize that it is somehow connected to topper. Because of this, they have to get toppers help, because without it theres no chance they are gonna get what they are looking for. They offer topper 1/3 of the reward, which he accepts. They all go searching for what is probobaly treasure, and with toppers helpp usuing what he has that they dont, they manage to find it, and topper apologizes for all the cruel things hes done. its kind of like a redemption season for topper. and rafe is also trying to get this treasure because he somehow found out, but ends up behind bars at the end.
