Theres alot of emotion in this film and by the time Jimmy Hoffa is killed, you feel empty inside which was the point. Frank dies feeling empty and alone. Pacino is larger than life as Hoffa. In my opinion, this movie alone makes Netflix worth having. There’s new things to learn every time I see it (well, parts of it, it’s not often I can see the whole thing in one shot).

For me, best movie of the year. Say so, I don't think that the movie won a Oscar a best picture

That best supporting actor category is amazing this year. I really don't care who wins but I'm low key pulling for pesci or pacino

Pesci is the only actor who always NAILED his mobster roles in every movie!!

I mean almost every role has not just a great actor but basically THE best actors in the game. Even my boy Plemons. Attention to detail is what makes scorses the best. Gangs of new York, goodfellas, Casino 🎰, and my favorite...when he was young and PISSED off...Taxi Driver

A work of genius. One of the things I always notice in old movies is a mistake with the cars. They usually ask vintage car owners and they polish up their car to perfection as it is going to be in a movie. So you have a street of perfect cars from the right year all looking like they were just valleted. But in reality, in the 1970s or any other time the cars are dirty, some are older, some are chiped or bashed in etc. Even more so in the 1970s and 80s people had old messed up cars that had one wing from another car. Everyone wasn't driving brand new perfectly polished cars from the last five years before it is set as we tend to see in movies. Now I've mentioned it, you'll notice it too. The cars are always too perfect, always cleaned and polished and never have damage. That's not how it was.

He stuck me as a man who could live with it though. Him not wanting the door closed could a been a memory of his friend hoffa. Saying that i have experience that been said to me by an older man when who was sick. When i use to go and see him he would always say to me to leave the door open a little bit on the way out. My personal view off it is perhaps they just want to hear a little bit of life which is just going on outside their door so as they know that they are not alone.

This Film should have been produced a lot earlierer, when they were all younger but it is what it is
