This looks like an amazingly well done render with Blender and/or VR headset-like movement. The texture in the very first room/dorm hall gave me strong video game vibes, plus the camera specifically avoids "capturing" any angle that would reveal the hands of the capturer, specifically whenever the POV interacts with doors and buttons. The uncanny shadows on the pastel staircases also hints at the fact that it's possibly rendered, but this is so well done that none of it really matters - it's immersive as is.

This is level is 100-125 kilometers wide and long So, it will be hard to escape. Get caught : If you managed to get caught, you will be immediately killed. There is a chance you can get released but thats nearly impossible. Didn't get caught : If you have managed to not get caught in this level, you will be able to find an elevator that is painted black and has the symbol "🚫". You have managed to escape this level and proceed to the next level as usual or a chance to get out of the backrooms but thats unlikely.
