This show is the best around! Honestly, seeing Johnny and Daniel all grown up and bringing back those original vibes. Very cleverly written and the references were absolutely gold! My childhood was the original trilogy so seeing it revived so faithfully is an absolute joy!! I cannot wait for Season 3!! No mercy!!!

Fun fact: The character of Mr.Miyagi is named after the legendary Karate Grandmaster from Okinawa,Chōjun Miyagi who founded the Gōjū-ryū school of Karate. The writer of the original movie,Robert Michael Kamen was a Karate practitioner himself and thought this would be a great tribute. Also,Mr.Miyagi was supposed to be a WWII veteran and member of the legendary 442th Infantry Regiment,which was comprised of American-Japanese soldiers and distinguished themself in combat,in Europe against the Wehrmacht. You can see his Purple Heard medal,which we saw in the original movie in season 2 too,which is later stolen by "Hawk".

I have an easter egg in Cobra Kai which involves Technoblade in it. The quote "Cobra Kai never dies." is a possible reference to Technoblade's famous quote "Technoblade never dies!" It's just a theory, but if you think I'm right, that's good.
