Wow the hatred in these comments is disgusting. Take a second to think why Netflix acknowledging black leads bothers you so much. Black female leads are being highlighted in this series because they have historically been under represented! If you have a problem with that, then you are a part of the problem!

Ummm Who the fuck are either one of the two? These self designated "legends" need to first accomplish.something of genuine artistic substance. The 'Golden Age' of Blacks in TV...LOL! When the fuck was that? The medium is controlled by a handful of white and Jew owned multi billionaire Corporations...end of story.

Reality tv wasn't really born because of the writer's strike as ANTM, Real World, Survivor, and Amazing Race was up and kicking before that, however reality tv Definitely matured and exploded after the writers strike especially in the predominantly Black Space.

What harm does this show have? The only thing it is is a black woman interviewing iconic black entertainers, especially the entertainers that don't really get interviewed. Hell the show is basically a black women interviewing whoever she wants. Yet y'all get pissed every time a video drops. Does this series say the race x y and z are lesser than black folks? Did this series attack you as an individual? Did this series effect your day to day life? If the answer to any of these questions is a no..... then why are you mad? Like?????? This series doesn't even dive into serious topics that can cause controversy. It's just "how did like working on/with XXXX?" "What have you been up to?" And maybe a question or 2 about family

Maybe because if the title was reversed to white there would be outage and Netflix would probably go out of business.

@@CraveThatCoin actually if they phrase the title right it could work.
@CraveThatCoin
@CraveThatCoin 4 жыл бұрын
@@TheGoldenAlchemist86 Is that a joke? No it couldn't work. If black was replaced with white there would be outrage. Why should the title be rephrased for white yet if it's black it's fine? Will Smith is successful because he's mega talented and has insane work ethic. He didn't need to have focus on his race to achieve success.
@TheGoldenAlchemist86
@TheGoldenAlchemist86 4 жыл бұрын
@@CraveThatCoin the premise of the show is the creator interviewing whomever she wants. How could that not work for white people? That's just pessimism. Also yes Will Smith did play upon his blackness(his authentic self) to acquire an audience. Once he garnered a bigger base he did whatever he wanted. That's just basics 101 of using what you have

Identity politics. Driving everyone apart and removing progress on the basis of gender, religion sexuality and race. I long for the day when people won't see colour and will just see the individual. When people will not be judged by their gender or the colour of their skin but by their actions and character. We were getting somewhere with the message that we are all the same. Now sadly it's acceptable in society to dismiss a person due to their skin colour, gender etc.

NETFLIX LISTEN! IM IN QUARANTINE AND I HAVE HAD THE TIME TO RUN THROUGH A LOT OF YOUR SERIES. THE MOST IMPRESSIVE SHOW TO ME WAS NETFLIX LISTEN! IM IN QUARANTINE AND I HAVE HAD THE RIME RO RUN THROUGH A LOT OF YOUR SERIES. THE MOST IMPRESSIVE SHOW TO ME WAS NEVER HAVE I EVER. THAT IS BECAUSE OF THE DIVERSITY OF THE CAST, THOUGH K DIDNT SE ANY DARK SKINNED REPRESENTATION. NOW, IM NOT ANTI ANY RACE BUT WHEN I COMPARE SERIES ON HBO WITH BLACK LEADS WITH Y'ALL (SMH). NETFLIX LITERALLY HAS TWO OR THREE ORIGIBALS WITH A DARK SKINNED FEMALE LEADS. AS A BLACK GIRL THATS QUITE DISTURBING CONSIDERING THE HUNDREDS YOU PRODUCE ANNUALLY. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO SEE A CHARACTER I CAN RELATE TO WHO KNOWS MY EXPERIENCE. BLACK AF, TRINKETS ETC WONT CUT IT. IM ACTUALLY THINKING OF DISABLING MY FAMILY'S ACCOUNT AND SUBSCRIBING TO AMAZON, HBO OR HULU.

@mig189189189 Ask white people about being too proud of their race. Ask Germans. Ask those that moved to America and called the natives Indians. Ask the Jews if they have had any issues with people like that. Ask every asian country gunning for every other asian country. I don't know. Other than it being boring and extremely self serving, people take shit too far. I mean on facebook fans of shit like this also talk about how they wanna be part of a race war. I mean world star hiphop much. lols Maybe it is just like Nationalism in that when people get way too much into it it isn't healthy for them mentally. Creepy in fact. But if you enjoy that then by all means let that define you. That and only that.
