I believe they changed the fight since this video. The spider seems to auto turn at the start of the fight. Were talking an arbiter in the high 300s gets out sped by the spider easily. So it must just start at full turn meter to prevent this

I just realized that unlike in the Spider's Den, the Nether Spider isn't really immune to healing reduction so I brought Surezain Katonin to help out, along with Septimus to cause a lot of damage without giving her the chance to recover.

Lol. Got hung up on this boss last night, tonight, but with this comp suggestion, I made it through, no issues, and with champs that weren't all t6, or mastered. I had to use an unfinished T6 but lvl 50 Alure (no masteries), one T6 Armiger, one T4 Armiger, and then Apoth, and Syl, but that was enough to get me through. :) Thanks for the suggestion. :)

Was able to beat Nether Spider using Dutchess (speed aura lead/revive) > Valkyrie (shield/counter) > Coldheart (heartseeker) > Frozen Banshee (stackin those poisons) > Sethalia (remove buffs/hp burn/heal). Took me 6mins but you can try if you don't have the other champs in this video. Worked for me :)

I am dubious as to whether this will work high up on hard just because of how hard the counterattacks are likely to hit, but the idea is great. I've also been using tm drop to clear it on hard so far but I'm aware I may hit a wall with that plan soon!

Managed to beat this boss at this level with Reliquary Tender, Vergis, Doompriest, Scyl of Drakes and Legendary Galek. Couldn't keep the turn meter down and didn't have a consistent set up for it so war of attrition somehow always works in Raid.

I must be really low, I haven't gotten Scyl yet or apothacary or grush. I do have 2 armigers (not level 60 yet) and I can't beat this damn spider. I was trying 2 armgers, 2 Coldheart and a L 60 Raglin and get smoked.

Stew, my armigers grush scyl high khatun didn't work, I think on 60, I got it to work with aox at 40, reliquary Tender at 60, scyl at 60, coffin smasher at 60, Frozen banshee at 60.I'm now trying the nether spider on 90 Everyone is dead except frozen banshee at 7:30.

I don't know if they've tweaked this boss or not since this post, but I can't seem to beat it on Normal level 30 with a 6 star, level 60, max artifacts and accessories High Katun and Scyl of the Drakes, 5 star level 50 half artifacts 12, half at 16, 2 accessories at 12 Bad-el-Kazar and Allure, and 5 star level 50 with artifacts and accessories at 12 Ghrush the Mangler. So, not sure what gives here. Just going to level 60 with the latter 3 shouldn't affect it that much.

My best team so far which is fairly consistent is, Apothecary, Vrask, Psylar, Coldheart and Alure. (on normal). I do have to manual the end of the 2nd wave to make sure all abilities are ready for the spider.

I used allure at 50, Mausoleum, apothecary, arbiter and a cold heart if that helps you at all. I saved cold hearts a3 in case allure died and used arbiter if I needed a revive. I used mausoleum for the remove debuffs, heals and most importantly you need to put a decrease speed on the boss that’s why I used maus mage good luck

I finally made it through the nether spider on hard. It was a 20 minute fight on manual. I ran tayrel, scyl, mistreated monster, arbiter, and armiger. I used scyl and mistreated to stun lock the spiderlings. I think I need to build a second armiger.

It'll work. Just need to complete the waves, speed and acc. It's for sure a great start for anyone on Normal, Alure on hard will keep it in check, if not you have a 5th slot for another. =)

I tried armiger nethril allure doompriest and apothecary for HARD and it simply didn't work when you lose 75-100% of your HP every time you decrease some turn meter

Her A1 aoe will get you destroyed. I don't know in normal mode. Normal is easy with 5/6 gear and most any champs.

I tried it with vrask instead of scyl for the healing I have Grohak and Allure for meter manip, Nazana for the waves, High Khatun relentless with high speed, and Vrask but for some reason I'm getting damaged too much from his reactionary poisons/poison sensitivity and I die without the boss taking a single turn. Would dilgols lower accuracy help against the reactionary poisons?

Aoe on the spiders heals the big spider so that's probably why he doesn't do it. Well normally if you let the boss have a turn. Scarab is by far the hardest.

I don't know if it's an ai glitch or just bad rng but when using Allure on hard scarab and nether spider bosses if the turn meter was very low she would start using her other moves giving the bosses an opportunity to try and get back into the battle. Very strange because it's never done this before on say fk.

Needs to be either updated or removed Stew. The Nether Spider gets first strike and spawns the spiderlings and loads you up with poisons to start now since Plarium obviously didn't like people using your advice to beat the spider. No way to make this work anymore, and a solid turn meter team does nothing now.

Amusingly, it looks like everyone i saw came to the same conclusion and is using just about the same type of comp... 3 turn meter reducers to spread the damage it causes, permanent mass healing to heal those 3, a speed decreaser, a turn booster, ally protection. my comp: lugan the steadfast, bigun, nethril, allure, apothecary, and I did need to manual because of the dumb AI. spreaded turn meter decrease: Instead of armiger, armiger, high khatun, I've used nethril, bigun, allure. (note that biguns aura will work) permanent mass healing: instead of grush (leechl) and scyl (passive) I use Lugan the steadfast (a1) and lifesteal/immortal gear (and apothecary for a clutch heal on my weaker badly geared allure.) speed decrease: nethril instead of scyl. turn boost: apothecary instead of high kathun. ally protection: lugan the steadfast instead of scyl. A high resist is pretty important; allure was the only one without proper healing gear or resist, and therefore needed constant care, luckily she was the only one in bad gear. Allure ended up with full health, stacked with 68 (!) poison sensitivity debufs and 67 poisons on her, whilst the high resist turn meter controllers ended up with just 1. The spider took no turn. Others have used obvious alternatives as soulbound bowyers and coldhearts as a turn meter control, valerie/painkeeper combos for shield/cooldown reduction mechanism alternative for permanent mass healing. rearguard sergeant as an ally protection/healer alternative. Even haruspex as a turn booster alternative. so those will all work.

@@BARESARK4 I wish I am on normal as well i am sure it gear my apoth is 256 spd allure 185 spd but to get her max crit and 221 debuff accuracy killing speed. scyl is unbooked with relentless set 198 spd grush 180 spd as well Allure is not keeping the turn meter down she has 105 crit 221debuff acc but think the speed is the issue or i need more accuracy as i tried 10 times and even on manual now and i am lucky if i get the max tm reduction on all hits but but until i get some godly crit gear that has speed i guess i am stuck or get lucky pull miscreated monster some day. Also i am FTP great hall its not even close to being maxed acc is all at 8 and 9 rest is at 2. I been non stop grinding gold 4 I just need to unsubscribe to stew as in real world play us ftp can't even come close to replicating his builds 9 out of 10 times.. due to gh bonus/ possible in plat areana bonus/and just his amazing gear he has that i drool at.
