Yes I should have mentioned if you have AetherSX2 already you need to remove it and make sure you backup your game saves.

I finally got around to upgrading my version of Nether from 1.8 to 1.9. I'm only five months late! The old version was working fine, so, I was in no hurry. If you're playing on the Odin 2 I personally have not had any issues with AetherSX2 3668 rather than NetherSX2. I did this guide because I had a lot ask me how to patch AetherSX2 but I honestly only use AetherSX2 to this date. Now some very little games benefit from NetherSX2 for graphics but I haven't dug deep into what games exactly as the games I play work. At the end of the day that's what it's all about, if it works then leave it be. I hope that helps!

You can do this on the RP3+ just use the 3668 method.

Are you sure you downloaded the correct APK found on their GitHub and the correct patch file for that APK? Also make sure you put the apk (AetherSX2) in the correct spot not for the patch. I've done that in the past and an error occurred but never had this happen again with any of my devices.

Yes you have to remove the old one as this was shared assuming you didn't have AetherSX2 before as I put that in the Description so make sure to read the title and description please.

You don't have to download anything. Read only memory file is any file that can be modified and used by anyone once they dump this file from their games. So when people refer to roms they're referring to games like that of which are taken from a lot of older game consoles.

Great vid mate, hoping you can help though. I already have nethersx2 installed on my odin 2 and want to update the new release delta patch that came out recently. How do i do it without redownloading the apk on a windows device and rebuilding it? I dont have the apk file saved anymore and it's not available on the github without using the builder anymore? Am I being a little special or is there an easier way?

I'm not sure about the Windows method this is all done using unipatcher on your Android. I just checked the Github as well, the latest build is from June 5th and AetherSX2 4248 is still on their. So I'm a bit confused about your questions lol.

@@DNAMobileGaming the part where you link the original apk to the uni patch app, second selection down. That apk isn't available on the github anymore due to licencing reasons. From what I gather, you have to redownloading the builder zip file on a windows pc and make the nethersx2 apk do you not?

Shows App not installed as package conflicts with an existing package and wont let me install it. i uninstalled Aethersx2 thinking that was the issue and kept the files for saves and such and still says it. got any ideas or know the solution?

Figured it out: had to go into android settings and there's another aethersx2 app thing you have to uninstall not just from the android home menu I guess. that also deleted my all my save datas. so sad...

You have get rid of other PS2 app first

You need to remove the other version of AetherSX2 make sure to backup all your save files first too or you'll lose them!

@@DNAMobileGamingI uninstalled it and restarted my device, but it still thinks it's there! Getting the same error as the other commenter. EDIT: Fixed it by "reinstalling" the unpatched version and uninstalling it. I had accidentally clicked "Keep app data" when I first uninstalled it. Thanks!

Yeah there's a weird bug on the Odin 2 sometimes if you've already had the app installed.

I followed along with this and worked fine, downloaded no issue. But after seeing Retro Game Corps video just now he did it slightly different and didn’t use the xdelta. What difference does that make?

The xdelta is built into the patch for the PC if you open the .zip and look inside the lib folder the xdelta patch is right there. Not sure why he'd use the computer method when it's an Android application/emulator and not everyone has a PC to do this.

Yes it works for any Android devices even your phone. The only device I suggested to use the original 3668 with the patch with was the 3+ that's the only difference. I honestly still to this day only use AetherSX2 3668 never have any issues with the games I've tested.

Well when you get games in bin/cue/iso format they might be in a .zip/.7z you just need to extract them into their own folder than copy all the files into the folder shown. You can do multiple games this way then run the script to convert them.

Backup your game saves and do what you'd like, this was requested a lot so I did a guide about how to acquire it. I personally use AetherSX2 3668 still myself but I don't have a huge library of PS2 games.

I just played all the way through the first section with police chase lowest FPS was 55fps but that was during cut scene. 2.5x, Vulkan on the Odin 2 with my other settings configured.

If you have AetherSX2 already installed you need to remove it completely and backup your saves too. Also make sure to pay attention to what version you're trying to patch 3668 is for less powerful devices the other is for more powerful devices. Also make sure to pay attention to where the patch goes in the patcher tool. I've yet to have issues with this tool.

NetherSX2 is supposed to fix some games, there's a log of all this but honestly I've always used 3668. I had a lot ask me how to do this in the community in the past so I released this guide.

Auto Blocker for what exactly? Never heard of this happening unless you mean your Google Chrome won't let you download the file, in that case turn off your Antivirus for until it downloads then turn it back on.
