It sure is. I'm a big big fan! Can't wait to start on a bridge net, already sizing up materials in the shed to make a needle and card.

I am loving your videos on net making. Could you make one on starting a net from the bottom up? So as to have a closed bottom net. Thank you for such clear lessons.

Wow you make it look easy! Thanks for the great videos! If I wanted to make a replacement net for a round landing net that I use when out in my boat, how would I make that? Since it needs loops to attach it to the metal ring and also needs to be big enough in the center to hang down to scoop up larger fish. Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks again for all your cool videos! Ed

I have watched all of your net making videos and find them very easy to follow, and I'm planning to get materials and make my own. My only question is, how do you attach the draw string? I can't see a video on your channel for it. Thanks.

Good on you pal. This might sound daft, but what is a bridge net? Is it a net you hang off a small bridge to catch fish swimming up/down stream? I get a feeling I am going to regret asking this question :)

Just to give you a heads-up it's called the fisherman's knot

That is interesting. There were no such video on how to do so, cause it is a bit difficult. The knots if not tied property comes out. Thank you for the idea.

Its for landing fish caught on a line & pole from up high like on a pier or a bridge. They make ones with a collapsible hoop on a long rope with a weight at the bottom. You lower it down into the water and scoop the hooked fish to lift it safely without losing the fish. Looks simple to make.

It seems those two have really tied the knot.

Ahh yes, a fishing drop net, I have seen them used off the dock walls.

Mmmm........ I am not really sure about that one as I only make purse nets and long nets. I am guesing you could hand tie the net to the scoop in much the same way as you tie the net to the ring. You would just need to work out what shape the net would have to be to fit the scoop. Sorry I cannot help any further, but all of the very best!
