Heartbeat is actually lower order than the subconscious. Subconscious regulates some semi-automated functions like respiration, its why we can consciously interrupt breathing but not our heart beat.

You can conssciously interupt your heartbeat too. Takes meditative like training but yes, it is controllable as well. Most will never be able to, that inherent fear of death prevents you from touching those controls. No matter how many people love to claim they have no fear of death, they cannot lie to their subcoscious.

@@Nempo13 We typically manipulate our heart beat by messing with hormones which is affected by our emotions, but we don't manipulate the beat itself. If you get good at amping yourself up or calming yourself down you can make it beat faster or slower almost at will, but can't arrest it or make it beat faster without adjusting your mood with just your mind, whether you have the fear of death or not. The beat itself is lower order and out of the reach of our consciousness. The part that we consider ourselves has no real say in whether it does it or not.

The central one controlled consciously, (that's what humans think) and the autonomic one, to which they have no access to(good thing or some idiot would try to stop their heart beat, or their breath) Ego.. you enter a human mind, you find three people there. Yes our eyesight is actually connected to out conscious self through the subconscious pathways. Which is because whenever you move your eyes you are technically blind for those miliseconds of movement and you subconscious is using data and expectations on what is actually happening to show you what you technically are not seeing.
