As someone with Spina Bifida, who plays wheelchair basketball... thank you both for being willing to roast the disabled community! Some will be offended, but that's them having a bad day. The rest of us are giving you a standing ovation... in our minds. And yes I have t shirts that make fun of disabled people lol.

That is like playing with racism. Some don’t mind, like you, but then you can never ever say someone can’t say something offensive to the disabled community when you allow it to be no holds bar. Just because you think HE is funny means you then have to be ok with anyone else too. You can’t cherry pick who can crack jokes about another’s health or mental issues.

I've been following standup for many years. Matt has a very different following than most comics. His looks are a blessing and a curse. His looks bring in a shit load of women to his shows.. but many of them don't know how to behave or appreciate his craft. He's legit hilarious and I wish his audiences would appreciate him for that.

My husband has been in the military for 17 years. He has seen a lot of really bad things. He taught me about dark humor. At first I was really taken back by it. But then I learned how it helps the military community cope and heal. Then I realized how it could help me with trauma from my own life.

I am French and I discovered Matt Rife on KZbin, he is extremely quick witted, there are very few comedians who can be that smart and funny without jokes being scripted, the crowd work is insane and it makes people want to see his real work I mean the whole show. What strikes me the most is all the jokes you make in the US which are considered offensives are level one in French comedy shows 😅 the freedom of speech in France is on another level and dark humour is constantly used, everyone is roasted no exceptions and no one makes a fuss about it. First of all we don’t have the “woke” movement here so it’s easier for comedians to just do their job. I swear your show is actually considered clean and TV friendly in my country 😂😂😂 I can’t wait to see you perform in Paris next year 😊

I have never watched podcast for comedians before but it's 5am and I just listened to this one and the one with Whitney and there is something about this Matt dude. He reminds me of my husband. It's refreshing to see a man who values people in general. My husband could be a comedian but he has social anxiety so he'd be panicking like when you hit the blunt to hard before a show...my husband had taught me to laugh at myself and Im Blonde, am Disabled mentally and physically. And have ADHD so he fucks with me constantly. I just wana say good job for just staying true to who you are.

Matt was hilarious in those videos so when I found out that he did his own thing, of course I checked it out and was in support. Proud of the dude! Learning your craft is the issue in any performance art. Learning a craft means taking HUGE risks in front of people as you learn your style and way and often have to really fall flat on your face in front of an audience to do so. The conversation about fame for fames sake is really relevant and good to hear. Thinking you deserve accolades and doing none of the work is the issue with many today who just dont understand its called a craft for a reason. It takes magic, guts, luck and work.......

John I’ve heard that to achieve a deeper, quicker tan you shower BEFORE going in the sun to open up your pores for the sun. I’ve heard if you take a shower directly after tanning it will lessen your tan and cool your skin down. Think about it in this way, I’ve been with others who looked like they received quite a burn/tan by 2:00 pm, weren’t in the sun the rest of the day and by dinner time looked much redder or darker. It has nothing to do with soap 🤣😂🤷‍♀️love your show!

MATT is so warm and kind and both feet on the ground real.a man of honor in a very tainted world..but he does not judge.he uses his comedy to let us have a more humorous understanding of our world..his response is so quick, you know he's not using a script..He is a comedic genius a rare treasure. It will be wonderful to see what heights he will be raised to..and he obviously keeps his body as they say like like a God.
