Good tutorial guys! Hopefully those who are afraid of timekeeping will be encouraged to give it a try. With the days of tricky check placements mostly a thing of the past, I agree with your assertion that the emphasis is on just getting to the checks into a section on time and the rest is sorted out by the riders speed on the trails.

I just "finished" my first NETRA Enduro. I can now understand better, now that I have done (partially) my first enduro. I also understand how easy it would be to burn a check on the road sections, even if you are slow! I wish I was getting low single digit late points at my trail checkpoints, but alas, I was houred out before the gas stop less than half way through.. A bit bummed. I even know for next time, I should request a much later Row!! I was assigned row 10 (out of 40+), this actually hurt my time a lot, as I was constantly pulling aside for much faster riders (nearly all of them LOL). I am not a fast C Super Senior. Pull over for 20-30 seconds for every pass, and it adds up to extra late. Ah well. Learning as I go. Only mad eit to 6 checks, houred out, by a lager amount, on that 6th. I was falling too much and decided I wouldn't risk any further falls, and headed back to the lot from there. A good day though. I did not understand the RESET TO and why it was important. I did have my own troubles with the clock I was using and gave up on it but still, I did not understand I was being given some time. It is impossible to understand with out having actually ridden an Enduro, or at least having someone step by step explain it like you guys did here. So THANK YOU. This video did n fact clear some stuff up . Now teach me to ride faster LOL..

Thank you! This is great. Enduros are the best bang for your buck for New England riding! Once the timekeeping clicks, it even makes it more fun!

"U can't put a big reset in the woods!" That dude wasn't happy. Gotta pay attention a little.

Especially well you tell them, "Hey short course guys, be careful at the A/B/C split!"
