Thanks for showing the build in the video this time! I know you always say it’s in the description, but seeing it is so much quicker and easier. I’m shocked you didn’t go with the NetWatch Cyberdeck. I thought that was always the best, but you clearly know what you’re doing. I could never understand how you have so much RAM in these videos. I always prioritize Body and Technical, for durability and to max out cyberware, but I guess perks and weapons can be even better. I got my armor up to 1,565 with my last build, by filling every slot with high armor cyberware. Anyway, love these short, action packed vids! Great work again. All those lower level hacks can really add up to a lot of confusion and chaos when you use so many hacks so quickly.

Hey thanks for the detailed reply! As far as cyberdecks go, there really isn't a single best one. While the netwatch cyberdeck is one of only two iconic cyberdecks in the game, it is actually pretty garbage imo lol. In 2.0, each cyberdeck has basically been given a specialization or intended gameplay style that they are most suited towards. The netwatch deck gives bonuses to hacking through cameras and vehicles hacks and that's about it. The arasaka deck on the other hand is geared towards stealth because of the ram regen on takedowns, the trace speed, and the reduced cost for covert hacks. So unlike literally every other piece of gear in the game, for cyberdecks iconic does not necessarily mean better. For buildcrafting netrunner builds, I really recommend just looking at what each cyberdeck gives bonuses to and going based on that. Do you want to use hacks and smart guns? The paraline is a good choice. Monowire build? Biotech is good. Overall though if I had to pick one that was better than all the others, the Rippler is really really strong. It has the most base ram and it boosts damage to combat hacks like synapse burnout or short circuit. For ram, it's just a combination of all of the ram boosting cyberware + overclock. Also if I had enough of the cyberware capacity shards I would have used the iconic ram reallocator for a bit of extra juice but it's not super important. Oh and also as some general advice for build planning, maxing body, tech and reflexes is almost never a bad idea lol, especially tech. The game is called 'cyberpunk' and tech allows you to use more 'cyberware.' It really just makes sense to use it in almost any build, but for this one I felt like I didn't need it- who needs armor and health when you never even get shot at lol. But yeah, thanks again for the support :)

Thanks for the extensive explanation! I played a Netrunner for my first intentionally blind playthrough, around v.1.6 maybe, so it was a different game. I did love wiping out entire buildings from across the street using their camera system to hack them one by one, but boss fights and boxing matches were really tough with the build I had. Maybe a Rippler or Arasaka would make it much easier. Then I ran a Militech Berserk and Gorilla Arms Solo in v.2.0, and knocked out bosses in 3 head punches before they even knew I was there, and made all the decisions I wished I'd made my first time through. It was very different.
