Netrunning is still OVERPOWERED in Cyberpunk 2.0

Took me a while to get this build to work, but eventually got it and it's absolutely OP 😎 (Build video coming this week hopefully 😁)
btw:
- Cyberdeck is called raven microcyber mk.3
- Bike is called Yaiba Kusanagi (with a reskin from nexusmods)
- Difficulty is very hard
- clothing from thumbnail is modded: High colar vests, bra is from jinguji custom atelier

I feel like the big issue with netrunner builds now is that once you're out of overclock you become a sad man who could barely kill 2 basic level polices before running out of all your ram and have to wait like 30s for them to come back

Netrunners in one way need now to be more active. Intelligence perks include ways to recoup RAM by monowire or smart weapons. The smart weapons route is very powerful right now since some are submachine guns, and Reflex's Submachine Fun not only makes switching SMGs faster but also reloads them. I am using twin Yinglongs and it's a blast, especially since Reboot Optics replenishes 3 RAM and spreads to other when affected enemy is killed. On the other hand, netrunner as stealth is like a scalpel: very precise. If you have Embedded Exploit, casting Sonic Shock > Overheat costs 15 RAM but almost always one shots a mob, *and does not alert anyone even if there is another NPC just beside him.* We just need to relearn everything.

2.0 was a huge update for netrunning, almost all quickhacks now have their own niche that they excel at. My only gripe is that Short Circuit needs Cyberware Malfunction to be even half decent, but I'm guessing people will be using Malfunction for bosses anyway, to burn some implants.

The health regen and additions health pool. Quickhacks have a perk that makes it so you can use your health to power quickhacks when your ram has run out not to mention the overclock effect we saw in this video drains health to power up quickhacks@@MortivationNation

I used to run a netrunner build, didn't like how it got in 2.0 so i Rerolled to a body, reflex and tech blades build using errata and sandevistan. Slow time, then proceed to kill everything and everyone in a really satisfying way

One of the biggest myths is still where to find or buy the Yellow “Sledgehammer”. This hammer was presented very coolly in the build trailer, but it is not available in the current game. We're talking about the "Sledgehammer" not the "Sasquatch Hammer". You can't run or charge with the Sasqatch hammer. So we need the Hammer from the Trailer „Sledgehammer“ in Yellow.

I hate a game where I one shot everything or kill a whole group of people without them ever shooting a bullet at me. The Sandevastan builds are OP AF, and so was Netrunning. I'm starting a replay where I want to use the John Phallustiff as my main weapon and just tank my way through the game while smacking them with a dildo.

You went in flying from your motorcycle and jumping around like a ninja while shooting quick hacks all around. It's cool and all but it isn't what I have in mind for a netrunner. The rush in and kill everyone quickly is the only way to play now because the only way to regenerate RAM and keep the trace down is by killing fast. The netrunner that played it safe, from a distance, slowly going through the enemies one by one isn't viable anymore. The contagion spam was clearly overpowered before, and maybe needed to be toned down, but Instead of focusing on making netrunner gameplay unique, it looks just like any other now. Rush in swinging your guns, blades or hacks. The video would play almost the same if you were using a gun.

The problem here is that in the lore the people that hack are not in the field, they are jacked in a chair somewhere out of danger, if u want the hack style for V it would always be this kind of stuff. The old turtle style gameplay was really not very canon friendly, and was the result of a bug (you were always supposed to be traceable by enemies) but an enemy hack being interrupted made if so u couldnt be traced/hacked again. That is why the self ice cyberware was there since base game.

I'm wondering if the 2.0 allows for a decent Gorila Arms + Netrunner build. Always had in my mind a "Corpo Bodyguard" build concept, but the perks and skill progression before made it all awkward, so I never tried.

I think it can work alright. The issue is that they have no synergy. That said, once you put in the levels, alternating between the two in combat seems very viable. I netrun with an SMG without any reflex perks and it's working great. Just a small investment into physical can change that into a smart gorilla build.

It's very good. I am using fists/hammer(airstrike mod) with netrunning. Overclock spam those cripples/malfunctions then wrecking ball+quake for hp regain. Everything lies on the floor constantly. The synergy is that nothing fights back.
