In the 80s Apple was really ahead for that period, this machine from 1987 was already able to connect to the Internet

I had one of these from 1989 to 1994, I got an LC 360 then until 1998 when I got a G3 tower and now I have an iMac late '09. Funny how the desktop on the Mac still looks eerily the same, menu bar across the top. I can honestly say I have never owned a Windows PC! I miss the Mac II as it would run Continuum, one of the best games ever!

It's listed in the description :) The card is simply called "Macintosh II Video card", aka Toby framebuffer. I have better cards, but they do not support the fixed-sync AppleColor High-Resolution RGB Monitor. I have used a RasterOps Paintboard Prism in the system. It's hilarious to see how slow the windows repaint at ultra-high resolutions!

Please check the description. It is running System 7.1 Update 3.0 with quite acceptable performance. I also have System 6 in case I need to run early Macintosh apps. The system is simply connected using a Farallon 10BASE-T NuBus Ethernet adapter. The device driver for this hardware only works on System 7.0 and later.

What kind of NuBus video do you have installed, out of curiosity?

1.5 minutes and its booted and opening a web page. People forget how fast these things were. What happened? Computers got slower.
