Can we apply multiple payments to single Invoice from different customers

1st - There is one customer per invoice. It's not possible to invoice multiple customers in a single transaction. You can not apply a payment from one customer to an invoice associated with a different customer. You can apply one payment across multiple invoices, but it must be the same customer. You can also apply multiple payments against a single invoice, but again, it must be the same customer.
