The issue with this song wasn’t sample clearance it was actually because he finessed his label. He signed to a new label while he was already in the middle of being signed to another one. The new label took down all of his music from all platforms and re-uploaded everything to new profiles hence why this channel has such low number of subscribers.

I have a theory.. Netspend intentionally meant to have this song/music video released and then taken down along with “nothing like uuu”. And yes, I’m aware of all the unconfirmed rumors of his label and/or the copyrights of the sample. There is way too much investment and image on the line to simply have the song taken down. You have to factor in that there’s probably contract agreements to release a public record from a label like this. It’s not like he’s independent. I think deaftones fw the kid. I think he already has the recipe down and believes these two songs are not what are going to define his legacy. So although it’s quality music in contrary to what you think, It’s nothing to him and he’s willing to sacrifice these songs keeping these songs as a “moment” which was dope to enjoy. I envision a deep tactic here but I’d assume he’s about to drop again soon to keep his momentum. I hate this is the only way to describe it but hes basically edging his blow up/break out into mainstream. Such a dope position to be in. Huge fan bro!
