This was the setup video I've been looking for. Finally I was able to setup my mioXL and configuration was a breeze. Also, the relationshop between HW-ports and RTP-ports (same order, numbered) got clear...puh.

Glad this was helpful. Our gear can cover a wild amount of different setups so it's hard to create content for each one BUT some setups, like this ,show up often.

my mioXL is opening multiple instances and after several seconds and 3 open instances the mioXL connects with my Mac. With my PC it works perfectly and fast, but with the Mac it is extremely slow. What could be the problem?

I am surprised that renaming the DIN source also apply the changes to the related DIN destination. Nothing prevents from connecting distinct devices on a pair of DIN outlets right (say a synth on DIN 1 OUT & a controller on DIN 1 IN)? Is there a way to name them both differently?
@iConnectivitySupport3 ай бұрын
Currently there is not. We have explroed options to have a computer be able to see the in and out as a different name but we don't have that option so we didn't add a separate in /out name to the other ports either for this reason.

Does this work also for Mio10?

Did not work for me until I switched back and forth between name and IP a couple times on each port. Ended up setting everything to static which seems to be more reliable with an aggregate network. The VEP, not relevant for midi over lan, is on a subnet without router access but still showed up in the OSX address list once the port is setup maybe that caused an issue.

So, could I connect my SY-300, MX5, Poly Beebos, Midi Fighter Twister, and QU-16 to this?
@iConnectivitySupport2 жыл бұрын
You can multiple devices over DIN MIDI and some of USB MIDI like the MIDI fighter. The USB connected devices must be USB class compliant and we will onyl be able to pass MIDI/SysEx data.

I'm on Monterey and can't get my mioXL to show up under RTP.
@iConnectivitySupport2 жыл бұрын
This should work on Monterey as well. I've been on Monterey since it's come out publicly and is working normally. You might want to recheck any connections to the computer as well as making sure your firmware is up to date. You can also contact our support team if you are running into issues still. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this.

@@iConnectivitySupport If I see it on my Monterey machine but not on the other networked Big Sur machines...just keep trying? =) It IS a great unit btw.

@@michaelstram So you can see it on Monterey and not on Big Sur? I would shoot a message to our support team so you can add some pictures of the Network setup in Mac OS and Auracle X setup. I'd love to take a better look at what's happening on the Big Sur machines. I'm sure there is a link missing in the setup that can get things flowing. www.iconnectivity.com/support

@@iConnectivitySupport I will, I also want to see it on my iPad with the connectivity app if that app is still useable for the mioxl
