He's like Daigo Saito (maybe 😜 ). He and his team was coming out of nowhere (except James Deane did compete in Formula D back in 2007, driving for Team Falken) and just dominates the series along with his teammate Piotr Wiecek in their 2JZ powered Nissan Silvia S15.

James Deane was a 15 year old kid when he raced as a special guest in 2007,anytime this statement is made, the CRUTIAL part is left out..so in reality this was his first COMPETITIVE season..he made a bigger statement than saito, the class of the field alone (Fforsbergx2, Asbox2,denofa,yoshihara,teurek Nishida etc)he took all their scalps with such conviction, he also racked up the most wins in a single season, obviously no other driver including Sato has ever done that..from the competitors perspective, James puts the 'fear' in them

He's dominated europe and asia and oceanic for many years so he hardly came out of nowhere just because he wasnt competing in america, same as daigo saito was dominating asia before he came to america so he also was very renowned before hand

RB not practical for drifting!!..the 2J is the crowning jewel for drifters (Nissan man)..id take an RB all day long for any other Diciplne of driving, but not 'sideways'

If its any consolation he put an SR20 into an RX7 so if you thaught the 2jz in a Nissan was bad imagine how the Mazda guys feel, quite funny really I just love his out of the box thinking for his creations
