My Dogs First Time In The Kayak

Freedom loves to go places. She is the dog to take out as she’s better with strangers then Whiskey. So I would love to take her kayaking with me but it’s a work in progress. We got a while before she’s out on the water with me. This was her very first time in the kayak on water with me. She did so good. So proud of her. She will do anything just to go! Blessed to call her ours!

True I totally just pictured a crank with 2 paddles connected to both sides where they can bite on the middle handle or have 2 doggos in a bigger boat for grip and it’s basically tug of war but coordinated.

Do you have a lake that has a doc around where you live,u can teach your puppy how to swim by using the lake and u can practice doc diving from off the doc and u are allowed to take kayaks on the lake ,i can't take my dog's on a kayak ,they are to big for that but I do take my dog's on the boat they love it, my brother has a Belgian malinois those dogs are so smart but they constant training or they get bored they love to work i have a Czech German shepherd and the Cane Corso and the Presa canerio I just love dogs they are so loving and affectionate and loyal and protective,i have my Czech German in dog sports and I have my mastiff breeds in protection work,if you have a yard u can get a agility set and set it up for your puppy it works great for training and u should look at getting a lure machine my brothers dog and my dog's get along great and they have so much fun chasing the lure machine, good luck with your puppy

Been watching your channel - love the content on these dogs. I'm thinking hard on a new K9 companion, hopefully in the not too distant future. My breed has always been Aussie Cattle Dog - but after seeing these Malinois, I'm feeling I might like to give them a try. For me, it's the intelligence that matters - they're the closest to the Cattle Dog I've seen, and very similarly natured.

I haven’t gotten to the point of taking Freedom out yet. We’re still practicing in the pool. The gators are BAD in Florida so I won’t take her until I’m 100% she won’t bail out the kayak. So it’s a work in progress but super excited for the day I can take her. I still need to get her a life vest for her though! Just didn’t want to spend the money on one if she didn’t like the kayak.
