For a DSP Model based on an old Fender Prince-o-Verb, you got it to hit pretty hard. I mean, it's no Rectifier, but it's not meant to be. This reminds me of the kids who say a Telecaster can't be used for anything but jazz. "Hi, this is Geordi, and he's going to crazy glue your lips together with results."

I loved the tone I was able to get out of it! I feel like you can get a lot of unexpected amps to hit hard just by tuning down and picking super hard. I blended in a lower octave for some parts as well

Indeed you are right on the money with that. One should never rule out an amp or emulator just because it isn't "made for metal". Ampeg SVT is known to be buttery, but you can get some real thrashy tones with a couple of pedals and some EQ tweaks. Once again in life, (haha) it's not what you have, but how you manipulate it.@@geordihills

I think I just used the modern metal preset by Keyan, and blended it with a second instance with the transpose at -12 for the octaver effect

@@jgutierrez-welle6357 the transpose would be pretty similar on this, but it sounds great when you blend it essentially like an octave pedal blend. A neat trick I used was to have your standard L and R double tracked guitars, and use the same takes with the -12 guitars but stereo image switched (R and L instead of L and R) to avoid any weird phase issues
