Maybe you like the classic deep male growl from vocalist Mikael Akerfeld (Opeth) too in for example 'Masters Apprentices' or 'Harlequin Forest'. It's different but great to listen to if you like this vocal technique. By the way, fun reaction, thanks. Ps: Akerfeld is probably one of the big examples for the new generation male and female growlers.

Right now Jinjer and Spiritbox are two of my favorites. Even though I'm not a huge fan of the stuff Spiritbox released lately. Both bands are unique in their own way, and have an amazing vocalist. Here are some other female fronted metal bands that I think you would enjoy. Setyoursails - Ghosts Unleash the Archers - Awakening Infected Rain, Agonist, and Once Human.
