Most current medical approaches for CRPS involve targeting or interrupting pain signals in the body. Since 2009, Dr. Katinka van der Merwe and Dr. Hannelie van der Merwe have approached CRPS cases by rehabilitating the Central Nervous System. They have collected neurologic and blood lab results on hundreds of CRPS patients, and they are excited to share our common findings and novel approach with the CRPS community.

I’ve had CRPS since 2006 started in Right Knee and now have Full Body Systemic. They seemed to have a lot of answers to how I feel and exact symptoms I’m feeling. I would love to know more about them and how to raise money and cost of care and lodging etc. thanks for sharing

Her clinic is one size fits all. It is $3000.00 for a 4 day a week treatment. If you don’t respond you are told you have underline conditions so come back when you take care of them. Also their success rate is about 25%, not 84% as claimed. Many ring the bell, proclaim remission , ring their victory bell , go home and the CRPS cones back. I am in touch with a lot of people that I’ve been there and after spending between $40-$70,000 are still suffering. There are a few people that indeed to get remission at Spero clinic but of the 50 people I knew during my stay only a handful got remission. I was not one of them neither are many of my friends now that I met there. We are still struggling after walking away with empty pockets.

why are Doctors not being trained by you or if you care so much why is this machine not being distributed to other doctors and trained in it? why keep this to yourself? Why not lobbying for insurance to accept this?
