Roger is always delivering Band-Maid to the masses. Thank you, sir. Madam Ramberg, I am not requesting you react to a Band-Maid song, but I feel you may enjoy their music and their diversity. The Maids are genre defying because they will use any genre to make their songs work. If you do decide to react to their music, we Maidiacs (that's what Band-Maid fans call ourselves) will make many suggestions of songs to react to. Depending on your moods, the Maids have songs that are face melting hard rock (not heavy metal), beautiful mid-tempo rock ballads, and catchy punk pop endeavors. Now that you have reacted to Band-Maid for the first time, you will find that you have gained several subscribers to your channel.

@@skrrytch I need to know more about this relationship between the MAIDIACS and the band. In what way is it different from other bands?
@skrrytch20 сағат бұрын
@@RambergReactsFirst of all: Band Maid cares about their fans and they always try to provide some specials, e.g. during live performances with some great surprises that make them so memorable (just watch "Freedom" live). And they have done songs that are written for their fans like "memorable", "about us" and "smile". Then they have multiple special videos from their band life and behind the scenes, some public available and others with a very moderate fan club fee. And they have no problems with reactors and sometimes recognize them during their concerts. Then there is of course Mikus "Omajinai time", her very special break during the concerts. And they care about their fans during the concerts where moshing is not allowed. I think other Maidiacs have some more examples. The fan base is very loyal and a very friendly community. They spread the word about Band Maid wherever possible. Many fans are musicians - professionals and amateurs - because of the intelligent and complex but catchy sound where listening to one song multiple times is a must-do to recognize all the different layers of sound.... There is a KZbinr who analysed those things quite deeply, but currently I was not able to find that video... One of my playlists collects Band Maid stuff (videos, no music) that are memorable and very special. There are so many videos out there so that the list might be helpful: Feel free to try some of those ... kzbin.info/aero/PLETxQUWOKz_H3YljCtuwpkMWxeKvxnwzH&si=YI3aUtY9s9to6RL2

Welcome, Ramberg. You are embarking on (along with many others - 220 million YT views, plus over 40 million reactor plays!) an awesome, progressive, hard-rock journey with 5 incredible women. Here's my intro blurb for those who may be new to Band-Maid: BAND-MAID’s songs and sound beat with the heart and soul of all rockers. But you’ll also hear heavy influences of Prog, Punk, Metal and Pop, with nice touches of Blues, Jazz, Funk and Grunge. Sometimes they use multiple genres within the same song. Their Composition, Execution, Joy of Playing, Consistency (144 songs), Uniqueness, Charisma, Charm and, oh yeah, Cuteness factor, position them as becoming the hard rock Beatles of our time! In other words, they’re destined for mega-stardom. Each member's personalities are super interesting and their musicianship among the best. Their writing, arrangements and overall sound, especially guitar tones and drums, are kick-ass! Having seen them LIVE, I can honestly say their performance, sound, stage appearance, and band synergy is off-the-rails spectacular! Band-Maid is the only band in decades where I love nearly EVERY song they’ve done. I have over 80 favorites! "Thrill" (2014) is a great place to start: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5XWaJppgpJnorM Their songs from albums Unleash, Unseen World, Conqueror, World Domination, Just Bring It, Brand New Maid, and New Beginning drive even more - Hate?, Shambles, Influencer, Warning, No God, Different, Black Hole, Rinne, Blooming, Moratorium, Domination, Clang, Dice, Spirit, Don’t You Tell Me, Turn Me On, Fate, Play, You, Hide-And-Seek, Secret My Lips, Puzzle, Choose Me, I Can’t Live Without You, and on and on. But don’t miss out on their powerful, beautifully written, mid-tempo songs like Daydreaming, The One, Bestie, About Us, Memorable, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, At The Drop Of A Hat, Mirage and Smile... or more punky like After Life, Don’t Let Me Down and Screaming… or funky like Bubble… or bluesy like Manners and The Dragon Cries… or poppy like Start Over… or a bit jazzy like Wonderland… or progressive like No God, Giovanni, and Black Hole… or cultural like the Band-Maiko series… or instrumentals like From Now On, Don’t Be Long, Onset, Without Holding Back and Going Nuts… or their many acoustic versions like Catharsis and Sayonakidori... and last but not least, their Anime hits (AniMaid) like Protect You, Sense, Different, Glory and Unleash!!!!! (from their own Anime MV (series?)): kzbin.info/www/bejne/bX2lkHiGiJlrfqc) And many songs are represented with over 50 well produced music videos. kzbin.info Most performances should be experienced from their LIVE audience & online OKYUJI concerts: 2023 Yokohama 10th Year Anniversary Concert “Endless Story” kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJKUqmCIh7uXbZI ONLINE OKYU-JI (Feb. 11, 2021) “No God” kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHLHiKF_h896l80 Tokyo's LINE CUBE SHIBUYA (February 14, 2020) “Domination” kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5PcgnaAo5ulj8k ZEPP 2018 “Real Existence” kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6K0n35_gbdoq5I Shinkiba Studio Coast 2017 and other full concerts are on bandmaidprime.tokyo, bili, and official Band-Maid’s DVD/BD/CD. And some of the better quality fan videos are excellent. Shot by Pat McKee from their 2023 US tour concert in Detroit: kzbin.info/www/bejne/epjbhmCDi8-nl5I See the Maids 2023 Rockville Festival’s short-set perfection performance: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJu9nIGbpKygnsU Great photo collage with older classic songs from P in D: www.youtube.com/@PinD-PANIC If you like Band-Maid, make sure to support them by purchasing some concert tickets, live streams, CD, DVD/BD & merch, etc. bandmaid.tokyo Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Don’t Let Me Down, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid. For fun, check out: "Mega Band-Maid Mix" by DJ Ray of some of their earlier stuff: facebook.com/djrayboston/videos/1004709499579009 Band-Maid MIDI covers: www.youtube.com/@DeanF_MIDI Reimagined compositions of Band-Maid songs: www.youtube.com/@fxdxmusic Band-Maid Members: Saiki Atsumi (Sy-i-Key or Psyche) “StarQueen" - Lead vocals, arrangements and melodies. At 30 and the youngest, “Sensei” (Teacher) as band members call her, has the last word on many musical decisions. High-heels or sneakers, Sai-chan’s smile melts away her sometimes perceived, coldish persona. Saiki’s powerhouse performances, charisma, and voice focus the experience that’s driven her to the top echelon of hard rock frontwomen... or frontmen! Miku Kobato (Me-Ku) "Small Pigeon" - Rhythm guitar, vocals, lyricist, 33 years old. “Koba”, as Saiki calls her, is the Band founder and a firecracker MC & PR SpokesPigeon, po! Her “Magic Spell Time” charm and energy ignite the room. Kuruppo! No, no, no… KURUPPO!! Kanami Tono (Ka-Na-Me) “Princess” - Lead guitar, keyboards, 33 years old, is a prolific writer of most Band-Maid material. Kanami (translates “Song Wave”) is a possessed riff-slayer who’s so damn adorable it hurts. The only thing you want from Mincho is more! Akane Hirose (A-Ka-Nay) "Gorilla" - Drums, 33 years old, band energizer & co-clown with MISA. Achi’s talents include massive consumption of noodles and bananas, of course, (even during performance!) while revolutionizing rock drumming with relentless drive, dynamics and the kick. This “DrumZilla” is the Party! MISA (Me-Sa) "Barefoot Assassin" - Bass, 32 years old. An alluring free spirit driving her 5-string to rapturous low-ends while pulling off surprising counter leads with Kanami, off-stage MISA is the band’s goofball ballerina. Sometimes seen as the Mysterious One because she lets her instrument do the talking, the Assassin literally kills it… every note... uniting Band-Maid’s world-class rhythm section. A slug of JB, a slight grin, and let the slappin’ begin… MISA! MISA! MISA! Maidiacs (Maid-e-acts) - Band-Maid’s crazed yet supportive, knowledgeable and loyal Super Fans. [BAND-MAID NEWS] BAND-MAID PRIME - Special Video Distribution Website. And a thing about the maid outfits, Ramberg: as Fans and Maidiacs know, Miku -- the 2nd guitarist, lyricist, founder and who worked at a maid cafe -- wanted to show that everyday working "Kawaii" girls dressed as maids in high heels while having fun and smiling could rock as hard as any guy band sweating it up in their hip, poor tortured artists "outfits"... and by showing that contrast (the Gap), it would generate interest, which it so successfully has done! It also represents Woman Power (Equality), which is an important theme with the Maids. Now they show up as Maids for all band business and interviews, etc. and have created a long-lasting, unmistakable, visual band brand. Very cleaver, Miku. Your diabolical plan for world domination is working, Po! Of course, none of this would work if their music and stage performance wasn't at such a remarkably high level. Band-Maid is considered by many of their fans and Maidiacs to be the best hard rock band in the world - maid outfits and all!

They flawlessly mix multiple genres in the same song until what you get can only be referred to as “Band Maid doing Band Maid things”. You’ve already got numerous suggestions for other songs, like “Hate?” live, which is awesome, but I’ll add that you check out their new music video “Forbidden Tale” so you can see how varied their compositions can be.

I read Roger’s message wrong and my brain picked up on the wrong detail, so I’m happy that I did follow his recommendation and reacted to my very first Band Maid. I love when band mixes genres as I love a mix of genres my self. Thank you so much for your comment and the recommendation “Forbidden Tale” has a very seductive title. I’ll keep that it mind🕊️🫶🏻

Thank you! What I’ve learned so far is that they’re the coolest all ladies hard rock band that mixes a lot of genres🔥And Misa is a woman that I’m naturally drawn to- as she is relatable. Can’t wait to find out more about their life and music🙏🏻

If you don't like people telling you what to do. What do you do when someone tells you to do what you want?
@RambergReactsКүн бұрын
Great question- I think that’s when they call me difficult or that I want to do what I want in my own way ;)

Don't be fooled by the outfits, Band-Maid didn't gain worldwide acclaim by being submissive Japanese girls,

I stand corrected and I’ve now learned about the Demure Maids and how the outfits make them stand out and it makes so much sense. I absolute love the outfits- no doubt about that🔥

I suggest NEVER reacting to Band-Maid "HATE?" official LIVE, whatever you do. Being in Norway, are you a "Royal Republic" fan? I LOVE those guys! Great at outdoor Festival band.
@RambergReactsКүн бұрын
I see what you did there 😁I guess you mean the Swedish band Royal Republic and they’re great. Swedes and Norwegians have a love/hate relationship, but I love them always!

@@RambergReacts Cool! I enjoy the hell out of them. So why would some hate RR? Not hard enough for them?
@RambergReactsКүн бұрын
@ no, no…not in that way! We’re just acting like siblings generally. We love their music like RR and also bands like Kent.

@@RambergReacts Ah! okay I dig..... I'll check into Kent, never heard of them...Thanks!

Okay then, please DO NOT react to The Maid's "Real Existence - LIVE". 🤣 Welcome to Band-Maid! Welcome home. 🕊

I think Roger did not say Death Metal. Try RINNE (OMV) and HATE? (Live).

Thank you!🙏🏻Yes, I misunderstood his message, so that one is in me.

You got the gorgeous eyes. Yes, fans get too insistent about requests. There are good - very good - and bat sh*t crazy good music videos. If you don't know ALL of the bands there is no way to prioritize MVs. For instance if I said you should prioritize the singer "Ado" with Unravel - Live, you would have no idea if I was legit. Here is a great clue in my opinion, lots of Japanese bands will get tons of requests from frantic fans - that may be because Japan is SICK with talent, ha ha. You have gorgeous eyes.

Thank you so much🙏🏻I can’t wait to dig into their huge back catalogue and yes, it’s hard to react in the right order, especially as I haven’t made a system (yet). But I’m happy I was rebellious and reacted to this one. Once again- thank you ☺️

Im telling you right now young lady don't you dare react to any more BandMaid! I mean it! Cut it out. Obey our command! The lyrics are too encouraging for you! Dice LIVE would be a huge mistake! Stay awsy from Manners/Black Hole LIVE! In fact just make up your mind to STOP reacting to the Maids! It may be too much awesomeness for your delicate constitution despite your thoughtful review. Don't react to HATE? LIVE. BandMaid is the greatest proper rock and roll band of the 21st century IMHO. It's a pity because their over 130 songs are excellent. Alas no more reactions for you!!! New sub here!

Hahaha, I love that you and others get me straight away!! Don’t you dare telling me what to do ;) Now I’m not curious at all about diving into the ocean of incredible music from these ladies. They have an impressive backlog and I just found out they’ve their own record label “MAIDIT”. Love it🕊️🔥🫶🏻

This song isn't Hard Core, but they have a few songs that are. They have a little of everything. Just tell us what you like. We'll suggest a song for that. Try 'Hate?' LIVE.

It was also me misunderstanding the message as I’m not native English. I’m now a little bit more informed and know that these ladies mixes genres! That’s perfection for me. I’ve gotten some indications of which song I should go for next :))
