Neuschwanstein Castle - Füssen

Neuschwanstein Castle is a symbol of Bavaria and Germany in the world.
Neuschwanstein is a fairy tale castle par excellence, built by the "fairytale king" Ludwig II in 1869.
This time, we visited in the winter and the snow from heaven, and with the sun.
An enchanting landscape.
Neuschwanstein, it situated in the south of Bavaria near the border with Austria, dominating from its height of 965 meters the countries of Füssen and Schwangau and the magnificent landscape, characterized by several lakes among which stands out for its beauty the small Alpsee.
To enjoy a view of the chateau must reach the bridge of Maria (Marienbrücke), named in honor of Queen Mary, mother of Ludwig II, which is suspended above the gorge of Pöllat.
Walt Disney took Neuschwanstein like model for the castle of his famous animated film "The Sleeping Beauty" (1959).
